My dad is a taxi driver and only really uses it for jobs that are out of the local area and he uses it when he's not working for fun and to help find places we've never been before. It's very reliable and extremely easy to use - my Dad picked it up in about 30 minutes and he's no computer whizz!!
It's also very small and slim compared to other sat navs ... ...arrive somewhere and no one will no you have it on you - safe and easy!!
It's also quite cheap for a sat nav and does the job brilliantly!!
My Dad has had this for 6 months now with absolutely no problems and loads of great comments from people who have seen how easy it is for him to use! Also another great thing is that it charges on a cigarette lighter in your car so it never has to run out of power on a journey!! ... more

Quick review of Navman F 10
Had the Navman F10 for a few months now. Generally I find it very good, although every now and then it gets confused, especially if there are staggered junctions, where it doesn't seem to be able to figure quite which way to go and then you get the "perform a U turn" message. I guess that would be the same with most systems. It has NEVER failed to get me to my destination, although sometimes it's directed me down roads which are more like paths!
Apart from the small niggles above, I love it, it's cheap, well featured, has a good sized screen and even works in my car with a heated front windscreen, proving that the satellite reception must be good. Well worth a look. ...

Advantages: Easy to use and install Disadvantages: over sensitive sreen.
I have found the Navman F10 to be easy to install in my vehicle and also simple to transfer over to another vehicle if needed.
The lcd display is bright and easy to read,the touch screen can be a little bit of a problem when using your finger to touch the digits sometimes registering ajacent digits instead ,but I have found using a pen with a lid on to touch the screen instead of a finger works fine. I have owned the f10 now for about six months ...

Advantages: You will never get lost again. Disadvantages: There is no home charger
given, if this happens then you just enter the name of the city or town the street is in and then the street name. You will then be given another three options. Centre of street, house number or intersection(if you press intersection this will list all the connecting roads to the one you want).
If for some reason you can't use the adapter then the battery will last about two hours, but if you turn the volume down and the brightness to about 20% then you will get about another two hours. This can sometimes be a problem because there are no at home chargers for the Navman, but i found a mobile phone charger with the same connection, which works perfectly. I found this at a market but have heard you can get hold of one for about £10 on the Internet.
I Think the NavmanF20 is fantastic and has stopped me from getting very lost ...

Tomtom Sat Nav? You want to read about its useful features and not the gimmicks. What's worth having and what's not? The difference between the Tomtom V2 and V3.
Now I'm no expert, to be honest I was a first time buyer on a budget and only previously had experience of a friends NavmanF20 before buying my own tomtom 10 days ago.
I set out as you are probably doing now reading all the reviews on different makes and finding people talking more about battery life and suction ability rather than what it can actually do.
Step one, it eventually hit me that the only way to avoid disappointment and really find out its full features is to go to the manufacturers website and download there product manual if its available.
Four real must have features I would say on any Sat Nav worth having are:
