I bought the Navman F20 for my girlfriend for xmas, but have found myself using it more than she does.
I find it fun to use. The screen is big and clear, yes the F20 is wider than the TomTom etc, but it is very slim in comparison.
The touch screen is easy to use, and the in-screen buttons and options are simple to follow. From first taking it out of the box we had it up and running in under 2 minutes.
I bought this product because it was at the cheaper end of the market at £150 from Argos. It comes with the unit, an in car cradle and an in car charger, I have heard complaints that it doesn't come with a wall charger or a PC connection cable, but we only use this product in the car, so we do not have a need to charge it in the house. It comes with maps to cover all of the UK and Ireland, so again I can see no need to connect it to the PC.
One of the main reasons why I swayed towards the F20 was the little button on the front with a petrol pump on it. Basically at any point whilst driving pressing this button will bring up a list of the nearest petrol stations, you can then select one and the route will automatically calculate to direct you to this petrol station. (Has the same option for parking)
The bad bits!
Apart from the usual maps not being upto date (which I assume would be the same for all GPS systems) such as small round-abouts not being recognised on the maps. The only small down side to this product is that it likes to give you an instruction, and then also advise you of the next turn required. For example, it may say at the end of the road "turn left", then within a second, say "turn right", this sometimes happens so quickly together that your not sure if your turning left or right???
On the whole though, the F20 is superb, we love it!
