To be honest, I didn't know if I wanted to buy a Sat Nav system at all, however I thought that it may be a handy thing to have. I had read about people being directed down dirt tracks and such.
I knew that I would not be using it a great deal, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something i would not use much. Therefore I plumped for one of the cheapest on the market, the Navman F20.
Now, I did not know what I was going to get for my money, so I was not expecting much.
However I was very pleasantly surprised!
First of all I messed around going to places which I knew.
I purposely took different routes to those directed by the system and it very quickly re routed me, it never once told me to make a U turn
Then I needed to travel to a plce I had never been to before, to Dudley from my Rotherham home.
I printed the instructions from the web as a back up, but then I forgot them. So I was at the mercy of my Sat Nav.
I am very happy to report that it took me to the place I wanted to go and more importantly, got me home with no problems at all.
i always end up more lost using one of those things. i once ended up in a old folks caravan park when i was heading for a cemetary!

Advantages: Easy to use, simple instructions, good value price, reliable, spot on location. Disadvantages: Touch screen only ('pen' would be an advantage), doesn't come with home charger or case.
