This is a very useful piece of equipment if you are not sure of where you are going or confident on the road.It is small and compact and neutral in colour, very easy to use.The appliance can be easily moved from vehicle to vehicle within minutes. It has a touch screen which can be operated with the stylus which is supplied or your'e finger. The actual hardware can be powered by 12v in car charger(supplied) or charged at home. I have used one of these navigation systems on many occasions and the only faults i have is the postcode availability and the different streets it brings up.For instance if you type a street name in and want it in Leeds it will bring up all the streets with that name stored on the memory card. You also can have a number of views ie street level, 3d map and multiple maps showing next turn all prompted by male/female voice. It also has an infa-red port sd/mmc slot for map storage and a usb port. you can easily take it out of the box and use it srtaight away, with other maps available to buy. This item is available to buy from halfords ,pc world and on line stores with prices ranging from £300 to £500. I would recommend this to any one looking for a small lightweight and reasonibly priced navigation system.
