I have owned the Navman 520 for around a year. This was the first GPS system I have owned and I can say now that it is a bit out dated… the maps are hard to read unless you have map reading experience… I have also noticed that to get a GPS signal can take some time (around 5mins sometimes). If you are thinking of buying a new Satnav, go for the new TomTom1, its much better and gets a better signal faster. The maps are also better and the voice directions are a lot louder. To conclude, I think that there are a lot better GPS systems out there and this one is obsolete. I have now got the TomTom1 and it’s a much better system and is very well priced.
