...a Garmin, I found the navman very easy to use. the 2d and 3d views make navigating easier. The touch screen saves on multiple button presses, The 'boring' female voice can be replaced with a 'boring male voice'.
Preinstalled are 1,000's of Points of interest along with dedicated fuel and parking buttons. These are really good when you need to find a petrol station or parking area in a strange area, nice touch Navman.
The built in camera is great ... ...pics are reportedly on a Database on the Navman site. I have not found any. Users proportedly can upload their own pics to the navman site.
Apart from the customer support, or lack of it. The N40i is a great sat nav and i would recommend it to anyone ...

So you can find your way there - no matter how far away it is - whenever you want. The NavPix itself combines exact geographical information with an image, so whether it's the Arc de Triumphe, Trajan's Arch or the Cinquantenaire Arch, you'll easily find your way back. The slim N40i brings together advanced software with ease of use and a finger-friendly, 3.5" touch screen. What's more, that ease of use is carried over into the intuitive display and GPS navigation features. So you can choose whether to use a NavPix or an address, including postcodes, to find your way to a destination reliably and accurately every time. To minimize any surprises during your exploration further afield, the safety camera data was preinstalled and maps added. This makes the N40i great value-for-money GPS navigation. What's more, there are nearest Fuel and Park buttons to help you find somewhere to park or fill up - as well as compatibility with the optional T1 Traffic Pack for real-time traffic updates where available.
I got this for my Dad for his birthday and he absolutely loves it!
My dad is a taxi driver and only really uses it for jobs that are out of the local area and he uses it when he's not working for fun and to help find places we've never been before.... more
I do not get on with nav man sat navs what so ever! I am writing this to personaly reccomend you do not buy one. Although the mapping is very clear and easy to understand, setting up where your going is not so easy. I have had many many problems with nav more
I bought this recently after a friend reccomended it to me, and i must say that it is a superb piece of kit. I managed to get mine for £135 which i thought was a good price for this product. It is very accurate and i havent had any problems so far... more
To sum up in a sentance - I would buy this again.
I previously had a Garmin product which worked very well, but eventuall gave up on me. This forced the purchase of a new model which must have European mapping. The S90i has that and a few other bits more
