GPS or Global Positioning systems have become an essential in my life as I travel around the country a lot and visit a range of locations. These vary enormously and I frequently find myself visiting places I'm not sure I've even heard of, let alone could actually locate on a map. Couple that with missed motorway junctions, dodgy map reading and poor road signs and as I'm sure you can guess, you find yourself hopelessly lost. On opening the package I was amazed at the amount of 'stuff' that came with it. 5 cd's, mains charger,- with several adapters, windscreen mount, usb cable, loads of documentation and an in car charger. It took me about 5 minutes to work out the basic functions. That was before I even looked at the 'blurb'. I installed the unit in the car and programmed a trip which I knew that I had to make the next day, the unit crashed. Fatal error..... Not impressed at all. However I had to make the journey and when i got back I started emailing Navman, this went on for about a week, 3 or 4 emails a day ... more
