However, I find the touch screen entry of addresses a nightmare to do with the wrong letters being selected quite often (even some being from a couple of inches away on the screen!) Of all of the sat-navs I have used with my job this one only ... ...I have owned.
The navman has bluetooth which enables connection to a suitable mobile phone my iphone 3g initially refused to connect but after an update for the phone connection was established and works well. The microphone built into the navman is a bit on the quiet side with engine noise being a problem drowning out your voice unless you shout a bit.. reception volume however was loud and clear.

Of all of the sat-navs I have used with my job this one only finds about 60% of the streets in my town that I enter (town is over 60 years old with only a few streets that have not been here that long!) This compares with around 95-98% found with all of the other sat-navs I have owned. The navman has bluetooth which enables connection to a suitable mobile phone my iphone 3g initially refused to connect but after an update for the phone connection was established and works well. The microphone built into the navman is a bit on the quiet side with engine noise being a problem drowning out your voice unless you shout a bit.. reception volume however was loud and clear.
The navman has an SD card slot which you can store geo-tagged photos (geo-tagged photoes contain information about the location the picture was taken for navigation to that location)
The navman has safety camera alerts preloaded but I have yet to have it work for me despite several working and long established cameras in my area (my Garmin sat-nav finds them)
The windscreen mount for the navman is a bit fiddly to set up but once in place the unit connects to it easily
Advantages: Large Display, Ease of Use, Superb Aesthetics, Very Reliable, Good Build Quality, Battery Life. Disadvantages: None
...the roads except for my destination. The Navman took care of everything. It was ver accurate, easy to use, set up and follow whilst driving it did not once let me down or get me lost, it made my trip stress free and was well worth the price I paid. ...

Advantages: cheap, good screen Disadvantages: lack of quality!
I do not get on with nav man sat navs what so ever! I am writing this to personaly reccomend you do not buy one. Although the mapping is very clear and easy to understand, setting up where your going is not so easy. I have had many many problems with nav mans not finding the posts code, or finding the wrong place. Also they are very difficuly to update compared with TomTom and garmin! I have had many people say to me the s50 and s80 have lead them ... ...and when it eventualy found where i was ment to be going i gave up with the constant annoying voice.
on the plus side they are very cheap, come with many features and have huge screens.
If you over come the certain lack of quality you may not have a probelm.
Personally i would not recommend you buy this sat nav untill you have looked at other models and manufacturers first. ...
