Advantages: easy to dry hair quick Disadvantages: takes a while to cool
...i bought this hair dryer not really knowing what to expect but i had been recommended NClarke products before. Once i started to use these it takes a matter of minutes for my whole hair to be dry and i have medium length hair and it also leaves my hair soft and shiny without the 'just blow-dryed frizz' and this product really is good and it is well priced, i find the cool button at the top of the handle on the hairdryer really usefull as i allways have a quick blow around my head after its dry to keep it to my shine noticed even more plus my hair is really easy to style after cooling plus it stops that hot sweaty feel i sometimes get from blowdrying my hair.sometimes the hairdryer takes a while to fully cool down but other than that it is fine i reccommend it to anyone. and i hope this helps :)...

Advantages: different heat settings, swivel cord Disadvantages: experienced minor electrical problem
...Considering the reasonable price of these hair straighteners I think the performance is adequate. The different heat settings is definately useful if you want to minimise heat damage to your hair, but also as I do have quite fine hair in the past other straighteners have been to harsh and caused damage. The swivel cord is very useful, as I find them much easier to use for styling, and they are also great to creating slight curls.
I do feel that they help to make my hair sleeker and adds some shine, however this is more prevelent the first few times of use. I also experienced some connections problems in terms of the LED lighting up once on.
However they seem to fulfil their function at a very good price, and seem to work just as well as other more expensive straighteners avaliable....

Advantages: can do it urself, saves money and time Disadvantages: u may need help, need to hoover afterwards
...these are really good, i bought these two years ago for my boyfriend, they tuck away nicely in the drawer, and they come in a nice wee zip up case u can store all the bits in. They have never let me down and i use them about once a week, i have never needed to sharpen yet, so they have paid for themself. must have saved about £200 over the two years, only problem is i have to do the cutting, but if u just want the same level right over then really easy to do yourself. These are nice and light. it only takes about 5-10 minutes to tidy up or give urself a new style, just remember to use the right attachment...

I have had these straighteners for a while now, so I have had time to get used to them.
At the time they were one of the best ‘cheap’ end straighteners you could buy. With having the ceramic plates they heat up quite quickly, usually to the top... more
