Advantages: charge lasts for around an hour - easy to grip - - leightweight - several blade grades - waterproof Disadvantages: None
...Most men will find that trying to tidy up sideburns and beards can be a nightmare using a conventional razor blades - trying to get a straight edge is borderline impossible and I am no different - I have owned my Nicky Clarke NCM14 Xtreme now for 2 years and I consider them to be a bargin at £23.99 - originally bought from Ebay boxed and brand new.
The unit comes packaged with a base unit which it sits vertically in - the base unit plugs into the mains supply and charges the batteries within - on average placing the unit on charge will give the batteries enough life to keep going for just over an hour of continual use - I know this as we have also used the clippers to shave heads after a particularly rowdy night on the town in a moment of madness.
My clippers are electric blue in colour and has a moulded grip making them very easy...

Advantages: light weight, very sharp, no more going to the barbers. Disadvantages: none that i have found
...My 2 sons and husband where always going to the barbers for their hair shaved, having to wait about, sometimes for an hour before they even sat in the barbers chair, then there was the added expense, so i thought i would go out, buy the clippers and have a go at cutting their hair myself, bearing in mind i couldn't cut a piece of paper straight never mind hair so i was a bit sceptical. Any way i come across the Nicky Clarke electric extreme hair cutting set.

Advantages: Robust, Rechargable, Waterproof Disadvantages: After sales service
...When my old Remington clippers went walkies, I decided to do my research properly and found that the Nicky Clarke NCM14 had been awarded "best buy" status by the Which guide. I thought I couldn't really go wrong there, so I happily skipped of to my local Comet's to buy them for £24.99. (This is about 6 months ago, and now they are a lot cheaper - Amazon sells them for £13.33, and with something else on the order to take it over the £15 mark, you don't even have to pay for delivery!)
I would have given these clippers top marks, but the appalling customer service provided by both the retailer and manufacturer has let them down. To be fair I will list all the positive bits first though, and come back to the negative things later.
First impressions were very good; the clippers have a sturdy feel to them, not weighty enough to turn a haircut...

I have had these straighteners for a while now, so I have had time to get used to them.
At the time they were one of the best ‘cheap’ end straighteners you could buy. With having the ceramic plates they heat up quite quickly, usually to the top... more
