Advantages: different heat settings, swivel cord Disadvantages: experienced minor electrical problem
...Considering the reasonable price of these hair straighteners I think the performance is adequate. The different heat settings is definately useful if you want to minimise heat damage to your hair, but also as I do have quite fine hair in the past other straighteners have been to harsh and caused damage. The swivel cord is very useful, as I find them much easier to use for styling, and they are also great to creating slight curls.
I do feel that they help to make my hair sleeker and adds some shine, however this is more prevelent the first few times of use. I also experienced some connections problems in terms of the LED lighting up once on.
However they seem to fulfil their function at a very good price, and seem to work just as well as other more expensive straighteners avaliable....

NClarke Tongs Review ofNclarke NCS41 Salon PRO Ceramicby
micsbtch
Advantages: Rim so surfaces don't get melted Disadvantages: none
...These tongs are amazing, I couldn't believe how fantastic they made my hair look. My hair is naturally curly & nothing works on it usually.
My hair looked so healthy after using these tongs. They not only curled my hair first time, but I didn't have to redo sections either. The curl stayed in all night too, with out the aid of loads of hair spray like usual.
They have different heat settings, so matter how thick or thin your hair these should work for you.
My hair is really thick and not easy to tame at all, but these did it.
Well worth the money.
The cord is long enough too, so need for the extension with this product.
Rim on it too, so when you put them down, they don't melt the surface you put them on.
Fantastic product & not at all a waste of money, like most things I buy....

Advantages: Powerful dryer with good heat settings Disadvantages: Quite heavy - makes your arm ache after a while!
...I have mixed feelings about this hairdryer. In terms of actual hair drying capabilities it works well, the two speed settings allow you to control and style with ease and the two heat settings are set at appropriate levels. What is very unfortunate about the hairdryer is that it is actually very heavy and so if you have long hair as I do and it therefore takes some time to dry properly you end up with a sore and aching arm! The switches are located on the handle which means that you accidentally change the settings while using the dryer, which is inconvenient! Another complaint I have about this hairdryer is that within 1 week of use the metalic coating it has was scratched even though I had been careful with it, it now looks like an old bashed around hairdryer, when in truth it is a couple of months old and has been treated carefully!...

I have had these straighteners for a while now, so I have had time to get used to them.
At the time they were one of the best ‘cheap’ end straighteners you could buy. With having the ceramic plates they heat up quite quickly, usually to the top... more
