This 1200 watt hairdryer is quite strong although it seems less powerfull than my last hair dryer that was at the same watts. I have had this hair dryer for 3 months and i used it about 2 times a week for about 15-25 minutes per session and it has already blown. When i first recieved it as a present it smelt slightly of burning but recently before it broke up it smelt so bad that i had to turn it off. I took it on holiday with me and i found that it was really too big, it was a disater when it blew up (it was the only hair dryer in the room of three girls). i do not recommend this hair dryer to anyone, as it is too much money for all the faults that it has.
