Advantages: Different heat settings Disadvantages: Cord does tangle when curling
...My sister is a hair dresser so i am used to having salon grade appliances, but hate paying salon prices for them.I bought these after seeing them on offer in Argos at half the RRP
I have very thick, curly hair, which some straighteners i've used in the past could not deal with. This model, due to the variable temperatures is outstanding. It also means that my younger sister, who has thiner hair can use them without frazzling it!!
I use them for curling my hair, which is extremely effective although the tip does get very hot during prolonged use.
SPECIFICATIONS :
High temperature 230ºC
Ceramic and Tourmaline technology for ultra fast heat up
Combines ionic and infra red technology to help make hair softer and easier to style whilst promoting healthy hair and scalp

Advantages: Brilliant for frizzy hair Disadvantages: none
...This hair dryer is perfect for frizzy hair, it gives straight hair in no time.
The hairdryer comes with a barrel brush which helps when drying your, section clips so you can pin your hair up whist drying underneith so you dont end up with arm ache.
Its not heavy neither and its looks stylish as it is chrome and sliver.
It is 1200 watt which also as ionic technology this helps to gain control of frizzy hair. It is very powerfull. It as also got three different speed settings inculding a cool shot.
The cord is quite long to so you can move, the hairdryer its self is average in size and isnt a problem storing it.
This is ideal for nice stright hair when you going out.
I would recommened to anyone as it as worked wonders for me.
The price of one of these hairdryers is around £24.99 which is to bad considering it is a good hairdryer...

Advantages: Works great of frizzy hair Disadvantages: none
...Hair Dryer
Cost: ranges from around £30 - £40
Type: Ionic
Brand: Nicky Clarke
Model: NCD30
Power: 1800 Watts
This is great hairdryer with a three heat and 3 power function. attachments include a heat director nozzle that allows more precise blow drying and a defuser that allows you to add volume.
I have always suffered from frizzy hair. I had tried everything possible, sometimes with temporary solutions, but I had never had the convince of just drying my hair and 'vewala' sleek and shiny hair. Ii had always had to use ceramic hair straighters, which is fine, but all the time is very bad for your hair.
Anyway the way the work is by breaking up the water molecules on your hair into smaller sizes on the hair surface. These evaporate more quickly for fast drying. Smaller water particles also penetrate the hair shaft giving added...

I purchased the Vidal Sassoon VS881 ionic hair straightener from a local Argos shop for £29.99 (their standard price) around one year ago. I picked it because it promised me state of the art ionic technology that locks in moisture, ceramic plates that... more
I have had these straighteners for a while now, so I have had time to get used to them.
At the time they were one of the best ‘cheap’ end straighteners you could buy. With having the ceramic plates they heat up quite quickly, usually to the top... more
