This is my very first review on Ciao, so I hope that you will enjoy reading about this great game!!!!

Gameplay
The Gameplay in this game is as advanced as it has ever been in the Need for Speed series. Everything about the game is so fluid, and smooth, it is sometimes hard to believe that you are playing on a current- gen console!!!

Graphics
The graphics, are as I like to put it "Truly Beans!" If you don't understand my lingo, this means that the graphics are absolutely amazing!!! The graphics really look like that they are being played on a Next Gen console, and if they can get the graphics this good on the PS2, I really cannot wait for the next Need For Speed game on the PS3 or the Xbox 360.

Sound
This is where the game is let down. I really think that when the game is first switched on, it really sounds good, but after a few hours of play, it really becomes repetetive. And also, during a race, if you scrape a wall or barrier gently, it sounds like you have just had a head on collision with another car, I just don't understand why!!!

Lifespan
I think that the game is too short in this game. I finished the whole story mode in about 2 days, and this is just too short!!!! And another reason that the lifespan is poor is because there is no online mode on the PS2, so this really limits your play, although there is an online mode on the Xbox 360 version!

Speed Trap
The speed trap is a new feature in the Need For Speed series. It has currently replaced the old drag feature, and in my opinion, I am really glad that they have done this, and hope that they will keep the speed trap feature, rather than bring the drag feature back into the series.
The speed trap is where you have check points during the game, and the speed is added up throughout all the checkpoints, and the player with the best average speed at the end wins the race. This is made easier with the use of NOS during racing.

Overall
Overall I believe that although the game has it's bad points, it is well worth buying because of it's many good features!!! It certainly is the best Need For Speed in the series, and if you are a Need For Speed fan, this is unmissable!!!!!!!!!!

wow what a well written review for a first timer. The only thing you need to work on is beefing up your reviews a little. in your next reviews put in more opinion on each section and your there. Great organisation and subtitles make this very easy to read and the info is there. VH
