This is my first review, so any pointers on making my next review better would be very much appreciated, many thanks in advance.

Well were do i start, hmmm lets see, i thinks il start with the graffics because after all its what makes the NFS games the best racing games out there. Even though the graffics in all the NFS games are absolutly brillant even back to NFS 1, NFS Carbon is by far the best, there smooth, fast, no glitch's and the FMV scenes are completly out of this world, i would almost go as far as to say the people look 100% real. Iv played the game for PS2, PC and just recently Xbox 360, dont even get me started on the Xbox 360 version because it is phenominal and the online mode is excellent.

The whole point to the story mode in the game is to take over different territory's throughout the City, and as always unlocking new cars and new parts as you go along. I dont really want to say to much about the story of the game because i dont want to spoil it for anyone but i will say if your like me and cant be bothered to drive about the city looking for the the next race and just use the "Jump To Race" feature the game wont last very long, probably about 2 days max for the more experienced gamer.

There is also loads of new features in this game including
  • the speed trap races
  • the territory take over as i mentioned above
  • the challenge race's
  • the many new features in the customize menu and im not joking you can customize almost everything
  • the new wingmen feature which are Blockers that crash into other cars, Drafters that let you draft off them to build up your speed and Scouts that drive on ahead and scout out all the shortcuts which is my favourite because when im racing i focus on the road and miss all the shortcuts as i did in all the NFS games
  • then of course theres my favourite feature, the car class's, it works in tiers, tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3, each 1 faster than the other.

Then theres the Challenge mode that has a whole list of races from Sprint to Checkpoint each one having a Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, if u complete the Bronze you unlock the Silver, you completer the silver you unlock the gold, you complete the gold you unlock another part of a reward card, and if you get a full reward card you unlock a cool new part you can use in the story mode. The only thing i dont like about this mode is that you have to use the muscle cars for alot of them which i definitly dont like.

I know i should be pointing out the bad points of the game but in my opinion i think the only bad point in the game is its not long enough and its too easy but then all the NFS where too easy so i cant really fault it on that. Im sure there are loads of thing im missing out but if your looking a new game to go out and buy go out and get this one its well worth the money.

hello and welcome I'm fairly new also. I don't know much about the games like you reviewed. It was a good first review you'll get the hang off it...............eiley

I welcome you to Ciao. If I were to approach this, don't let the text speak slip through, rather than explain how a feature works, go into depth with whatever feature you feel stands out. You say you don't like muscle cars explain how they are different what exactly it is you don't like about them. An okay first review, reading around (and rating) reviews helps as well, I leave it to you.

Hi there, a good first review, quite a bit of information. I have never played a NFS game myself, so a bit more general info would have been good. Rebecca
