Need for speed carbon is a great street racing game. It is not the best of the need for speed collection, however it is very good as the graphics are excellent and the music choice is ok. One thing need for speed carbon does have is autosculpt which is a revolutionary way of sculpting your car in various ways, if you know how to use it as it is very difficult, annoying and frustrating. The overall game is quite good as the police are still chasing you and the races are about the same difficulty as need for speed most wanted. The idea of carbon is to choose a tier of car whether it be muscle, tuner or exotic, and then win races and take over other peoples territory and therefore dominating the map. There are four "bosses", Angie, Kenji, Wolf and Darius. Darius is the leader of the whole map and controls every aspect of races, money and cars. Kenji is the leader of the tuner cars, Angie is the leader of the muscle cars and Wolf is the leader of the exotic cars. Another new thing about need for speed carbon is canyon racing, canyon drift and canyon duels. Canyon racing is just like a sprint only it is down a canyon, so it it not to different to other sprints. Canyon drifts are exactly the same as a normal drift races except that it is down a canyon and canyon duels are a race down the canyon with another car and the idea is to keep as close as you can to the car ahead and therefore earning points, you then lead the other car down the canyon and try not to let them you and therefore losing points, the one with the most points at the end of the canyon is the winner. To be honest need for speed carbon is a bit too easy except the last race which is very hard! The addictiveness is huge as i found it very difficult to leave my screen until i got to the last race which i find too difficult and thjerefore got annoyed! The graphics are very good and ahead of its time and the value for money overall isn't too bad as it is well worth a buy. You can usually buy need for speed carbon for around £20.00 but to be honest i wouldn't buy this one, because if you want a need for speed game then get either need for speed most wanted or wait for need for speed prostreet to come out! Happy Gaming!
