Need for Speed: Carbon (Xbox)

Well when I heard this was coming out I was really exited as I had been reading up on how this was going to be a great game with over 5 million different ways to modify your cars and so forth.

So once it came out to buy I rushed myself down to toys-r-us and purchased it for £39.99 and what a waste of £39.99 that was as I was sorely disappointed.

Well to start with I purchased it on the Sunday night and by the Tuesday I had completed it fully ok well to about 90% as I got bored with it: p Ok you may think yeh that could be easily done if you were a total gamer and played it 24/7 but that is not the case yeh I am a total gamer but I have 3 kids and you try racing down a canyon with a 2 year old standing in front of the TV every 5 seconds lol.

ill tell you a bit about the game itself ok you start off kinda where you left off with the last one you arrive back in town and everyone is not to best pleased to see you again as the movie clips through out will show you were in a race with 3 others and near the end of the finish line the cops lay ambush on you and take out the 3 other racers but leave you alone so you could escape easily with the cash or what everyone is led to believe....... Ok I don't want to give too much away so cut back to the game you then hook up with your ex and she gets you started by taking you to a garage and letting you pick a car you have 3 choices of car group in the game
1: Tuner
2: Muscle
3: Exotic
Each starting at the level tier 1 and as you progress you gain access to higher levels of cars and so on. Ok so now you have your car you have to race in different parts of the map to win territory and once you have all the territory you race the big boss of that part of town and you race them on the canyon ( hence the name lol ) . There are four parts of town for you to win and once you have won them all you then race the big boss who has a mega fast car lol.

Ok through out the game you will win different things to modify your car and also you can have a crew which gives you a hand when you are racing or help you with your auto sculpt.

There is sooo many ways you can modify your car and is about the only good thing about this game in my opinion and with the new AUTO SCULPT it makes it better as it lets you design your body work yourself.

Ok onto my thoughts about this game well where do I start hhmmm ok I think ill start with the game play as I personally think this one had none and that they had spent most of their time fine tuning graphics and faffing about with the modifications and not enough on the game play it is honestly just like they though ok everybody liked the last one and bought it so we will stick to that and just focus on the details..

Secondly it was way to easy to complete I mean I did it just over 2 days and that was doing it through all the different car groups...

Plus side of the game: The Graphics were good and the modifications were almost endless as to what you could do I think I had more fun modifying my cars than I did playing the game.
The Auto Sculpt was a very good idea and makes you feel more involved in modifying your car but yet they maybe could of progressed this more also :)

OK onto my final thoughts well I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone ok maybe if it was in the bargain bin for a fiver then yeh but I wouldn't want anyone else to waste their money maybe rent it if you could. It was way to easy to complete and there was nothing new to this game it has all been done before with the other releases bar from the auto sculpt which was a good idea...
