Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a racing game from Electronic Arts and Criterion Games in which players avoid the 5-0 or play as cops chase down street racers. 2.A fierce Pagani Zonda Cinque and a Lamborghini Murcielago Police Interceptor go head to head in this cliff-hanging thrill ride. 3.New cars bring you all the carbon-fiber you can handle in the Super Sports Content Pack! 4.There's no speed limits in the limited edition - unless you get caught!
Criterion's past experience isn't neglected here, as Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit bears many of the familiar hallmarks of the Burnout franchise. Aggressive takedowns of other racers and pursuing police cars function similarly in Hot Pursuit, and are likewise capped off by excessive, slow-motion depictions of destruction porn. Hot Pursuit also pays respect to Need for Speed's origins with a strong focus on cops vs. racers, plus draws from 2005's Need for Speed: Most Wanted. But even in a year dominated by excellent arcade racers (notably Split/Second and Blur), the game still feels like a true original.
