Need For Speed Most Wanted is however a completely different ball game. A few elements remain from previous version, like the circuit, spring and drag races.
The plot of the game is quite ... ...but with an awesome BMW M? heavily modified, you race the local blacklist racer razor and lose because he sabotages your ride. You now start at the bottom with a rubbish car and you have to defeat 15 other blacklist rivals in order to get your car back and to become no 1.
When challenging a rival you have to have completed and set number of races, milestones and you have to have a specific number of bounty points.
Having played nearly all the NFS titles down the years I was looking forward to playing this new instalment from EA.

Need For Speed Most Wanted is however a completely different ball game. A few elements remain from previous version, like the circuit, spring and drag races.
The plot of the game is quite simple you arrive in Rockport as an out of towner but with an awesome BMW M? heavily modified, you race the local blacklist racer razor and lose because he sabotages your ride. You now start at the bottom with a rubbish car and you have to defeat 15 other blacklist rivals in order to get your car back and to become no 1.
When challenging a rival you have to have completed and set number of races, milestones and you have to have a specific number of bounty points.
Each blacklist racer should get progressively difficult. I personally found it was dead easy up to blacklist rival 5 then it started getting quite difficult.
The best part about this game is the cops. The milestones you have to complete are usually speed traps (going faster then said speed through the trap), getting a specific number of bounty points. Evading the cops for a specific amount of time. The hardest part of the above is losing the cops and then finding a hiding point. Later on in the game the cops become absolute ninjas, it is almost impossible to lose them. Your heat/wanted level determines how many cops and how skilled they are. Changing the colour of your car, roof scoops etc will lower the heat level. Cars in this game are amazing with porches, corvette, Toyota, Nissan, dodge viper plus many more. All cars can be customized, performance, wise body wise (like paint and decals). There is also a customisation option on the menu where you can boost your turbo, nitrous boost and basically tune your car for that extra bit of performance.
TIPS: restart if you have been busted and it will revert back to your loaded game, avoid SUV (if possible) and spike strips.
Another great feature is the "matrix" slow mo time option. This is great way to avoid SUV's and to get through very tight places.
One of the best features is the speed breakers which appear as red triangles on your mini-map. What you have to do is drive through these triangles and this disables or breaks a water tower, fence, scaffolding or sign. This obstruction if timed correctly can destroy following police cars (very handy!!).
Even after completing the game their are some 70 challenges ranging from specific time cop chases to all different types of races.
I have played this game online at a mates house and it seems just as quick and no lag or anything like that.
I bought this game for ?19.99 ) a couple of months ago but I know you can probably pick it up for about £8-£12.
Summary: One of the best racing games on the scene at the moment, this game has a lot to offer and will not become repetitive and boring like some others.

Before Most Wanted the Need For Speed titles focused heavily on the underground street racing scene, both of the previous two efforts were pretty average but this one is a whole lot better. The game comes with all the same modding options and more just like in the previous games, the gameplay is much more satisfying this time round and the game feels much better to play. If you familiar with the game you'll definitely want to buy this game as it's ... ...slip. The police chases in Need For Speed Most Wanted help the game return to it's roots and they are just so much fun to race in, you will find yourself on the edge of your seat dodging cops left right and centre whilst trying beat your opponents to first place and trying not to crash.
The dodgy and very cheesy cut scenes in between races and at the start of the game tell your characters story and even though it's tacky and the actors are unknown ...

So, the new Need for Speed Most Wanted. I found it to be a truly awesome game. I think that graphics are immense... that is on your own personal car. The surrounding cars on the road don't have quite as good graphics, actually they look a bit like toy cars. However, the same can be said for all Need for Speed games so I won't downgrade the game to much over that. The sound effects on the ... ...in the game you will need to challenge each one of them to a race and beat them. Although, unfortunately, to challenge them you will nead to win quite a few races first, but I suppose if this wasn't the case the career would be way to short. This set out also gives you a good guide as to how far through the game you are. Most wanted also, unquestionably does what the NFS games are famous for very well. Every Need For Speed so far has been better then the previous, Need For Speed-Underground2 was way better then Need For Speed and now Need For Speed-Most Wanted is slightly better then Underground 2 but only slightly.
The sheer sense of speed matched with the stunning visuals make this game quite possibly the best Racing game ever! There is also a lot more European cars in most wanted Thank god! From Fiats to BMW Most Wanted has a brilliant variety ... ...If you want any of the Need For Speed games cheap! the best place to go in my experience is "gamestation" on the pre owned section I buy a lot of games and I find some of the best prices are indeed at gamestation. ...title. I was impressed with need for speed underground 2 and knew that it could only get better. My prediction was correct the game was got the graphics that is required for a game like this. It also has the gameplay to back it up. The game now included police chases which add an effect of suspense when driving in the free roam world. The variety of different races etc give the game a good level of complexity and difficulty. This means that the game ... ...bad point about the game would have to be the fact that the game can repeat alot when played in long spells.
The game starts with a creative storyline that gets you straight into the game. This then leads to ou required to races a variety of different tracks to climb the blacklist. The bounty this is where things get fun in order to increase your bounty you need to stay on the wrong side of the law at all time, and engage in as many police pursuits as possible. More high speed racing with police chases, fabulous HD car models and scenery, and more car modification options. Oh and by the way daylight actually makes return in NFSMW, thankfully,
Firstly looking at the game you'd notice menu's have been simplified (plus). Better track layouts but graphics not upto quality compared to PGR3 but HD support can make up for this.
The cities can be free-roamed without any trouble, or you can just get straight into racing, like underground 2's simillar option.
The best new feature by far is the police, it adds a new dimension to the gameplay basically and it's a lot more fun trying to outrun them, although some people find the police chases extremly difficult nearing the conclusion of the game, they're too difficult. The game can ...
