== Need For Speed: Most Wanted
So, the new Need for Speed Most Wanted. I found it to be a truly awesome game. I think that graphics are immense... that is on your own personal car. The surrounding cars on the road don't have quite as good graphics, actually they look a bit like toy cars. However, the same can be said for all Need for Speed games so I won't downgrade the game to much over that. The sound effects on the cars are like the graphics, very realistic.
The best thing about this game however is the police chases. I could sit for hours just messing about with them, you get all sorts of different types of police vehicles chasing you, including choppers. The pursuits can really last for as long as you want them to (providing you are half decent at the game). You can even smash through roadblocks :), and run over spikes and get stuck :( . lol
The career is undoubtedly set out in a brilliant way in my opinion. The "Blacklist" has 15 of the best racers in the area on it. To get higher in the game you will need to challenge each one of them to a race and beat them. Although, unfortunately, to challenge them you will nead to win quite a few races first, but I suppose if this wasn't the case the career would be way to short. This set out also gives you a good guide as to how far through the game you are.
Most wanted also, unquestionably does what the NFS games are famous for very well. That is the cars and customisation/tuning. There is a huge range of cars available for tuning and then driving about in. Way to many makes to mention, but some of the main ones include; porsche, corvette, lamborghini and many more. Every single car in the game is fully customisable, from the colour of the wing mirrors, to all of the body work, literally. The vinyls and paint options at hand are also of a good quality, not to mention that there are hundreds of them. Once again, even the vynls can be customised by changing the colour schemes and paint types. In Need for Speed Most Wanted, there are several different event types, six to be exact. These are;
Circuit (the typical lap style course consisting of a varying amount of laps)
Drag (normally a quarter mile full on power race to the finish)
Lap Knockout (A certain amount of laps depending on the amount of racers involved, at the end of every lap, the racer in last position is eliminated)
Speedtrap (there is a chance to build up speed to the cameras, pass them as fast as you can, your combined speeds add up to give a total score)
Sprint (A set track without laps, first finished wins)
Tollbooth (Pass the tollbooths within the set time limit, pass them quicker to gain bonus time on to your next deadline)
So thats it really, all that is left to mention is that there is also a Multiplayer option (local only) in which you and friends can race each other in quick races (you can make your own cars for multiplayer races for free)

Had this row with a mate an hour ago. I bought pro street last week which i hate. I think most wanted is the best, he thinks its carbon. But our row was based on the 360. Good op as always anyway..............steve
