What happened to Need for Speed. This game definetly isn't like any others, Pro Street is the equivalent of Gran Turismo 4 made awful. In other words, there is no free roaming, the tracks are limited and the gameplay is very hard to get to grips with.
So the career, I though the layout was ok. However, not anything special. To complete the career you need to complete several "Race Days" which involve several different events. There are to many to go into detail with, although the main ones are still there: sprint, circuit, time attack, drag and drift. Personally, I liked the career in Most Wanted much better. In Most Wanted you could roam about, find the events and complete them within a street race atmosphere. In Pro Street all of this NFS feeling is gone. The moves that you can pull are very limited due to the set out, unchangeable and boring tracks. So the career is nothing special, mainly due to the track only racing and bad layout/setup on the whole.
Things improve a bit with graphics. On the whole, the graphics are very good. Although they aren't much use if you get bored of the game. The sounds effects are probably the only part of Pro Street that has been kept the same as it's predeccessors. They are also very good and realistic at the same time. Car choice is the same as you would expect from NFS: Nissan GTRs, muscle cars and basically supercars on the whole. There is also another feature on Pro Street which makes the game a bit better. The option to play either 1 or 2 player locally on your PS3. This is much more fun than the career, mainly for the fact that you are racing against your friend. Not to mention the online play available as well. In which you can create your own race days with varying events and race friends.
So generally, Pro Street is not a bad game in terms of graphics and car choice. Although the gameplay is pretty bad and it gets boring and not to mention frustrating very quickly.
Some advice, don't get this game, EA have gone into reverse with it.
