I bought this game as soon as i got my ps3 i had looked forward to this game coming out for months and months,i was finally glad the wait was over.
As soon as i put the game on i noticed how much different the game was from previous versions of need for speed.On this version you are on a race track not on the streets,there is also no police chases onthis version which i think was one of the good things that they introduced into most wanted.
The graphics on this game are spectacular the background looks in fine detail aswell.EA have not rushed this game as you can see from the output of it.
So the story line on this game is that you are a new Racer from the Streets and you have to work your way up the ranks in the world of legal racing.
There are a few different races to master such as
Drag Races - One on One with the opponent.This is used in older version of the game.
Drift have to make your car go out of control but be under control lol to get round corners very fast and gain more points,Also used in previous versions of the game.
Speed Challenge get round the track as fast as possible.New feature
Grip challenge - Usually on a race track with about 7 opponents you have to come first to win.Another new race that EA have introduced.
Controlling the car feels more realistic,but also harder you also get the choice to turn off all computer aids in the car such as abs,stability control and traction control.Turning these Aids off make the game a lot harder your car will spin a lot more and it is very reaslistic seems like a old sports car with no computer aids helpin you stay on the road.In this version of the game EA have introduced a new Realistic Damage Effects when you crash your car you need to pay to get it repaired so it helps if you dont crash.This is a very good feature and makes the game look awesome.
EA have put a lot of songs into this game and they have also got a commentator who talks between races.The Sound Quality is perfect on surround sound systems sounds so real and makes the game more enjoyable.
All in all i would say that Need For Speed Pro Street is Awesome but lacks the Freedom to rome the streets,But to be honest i liked it and i feel like going to play it now.
I would buy this game if you enjoy racing games but it is not like the older versions of need for speed it is more like Project Gotham,Gran turismo.
I paid about £30 for this game off Ebay its about £40 in the local shops might be worth looking online for it to get it cheaper.
