Neff B1422 Electric S/Steel BISO

This oven was an excellent purchase - the installation was easy (almost too easy as we installed it ourselves and it took us ages to realise that it wasn't as complicated as we thought it should have been!)

It comes with three shelves and a grill/oven pan. The only downside is that instantly I had to take one shelf out as three is far too many to be practical - however I'd only complain if there weren't enough shelves for my food. ...
...a light which is superb and with the odd exeption of grilling the glass door never mists up which means that you can see exactly what is going on in the oven. Perfect for cakes and yorkshires which suffer if you open the door halfway through. The kids find it fascinating to actually see Yorkshires raising before their eyes.

The oven is fitted with a light which is superb and with the odd exeption of grilling the glass door never mists up which means that you can see exactly what is going on in the oven. Perfect for cakes and yorkshires which suffer if you open the door halfway through. The kids find it fascinating to actually see Yorkshires raising before their eyes.

The glass frontage does get warm to the touch, but not so that you'd burn yourself on it and the containment of cooking smells is excellent as well. Obviously this may be a disadvantage depending on your point of view! I don't necessarily like to be able to smell grilled bacon or curry lingering in the house the morning after.

The choice of settings for the oven heating is excellent, I have to confess to only using three of them so far - standard heat, circo therm and the grill. However it does give the option of top/bottom heat combined with the fan or grill. The grill provides options of only heating up a smaller area in the centre if you are grilling smaller food.
