I fitted out my kitchen in 2006 and furnished it completed with Neff appliances. I solicited some reviews from my colleagues about 2nd level appliance manufacturers and Neff came out as one.
1st level in my opinion - bosch, whirlpool, hotpoint, zanussi
2nd level - neff, smeg
3rd level - miele, fischer/paykel
Having never heard of Neff before I duly ordered the integrated appliance brochures and was amazed at the style, functionality and practicality of their products. I selected this hood because I have a small space and the theme was silver, contemporary .
It is very stylish and has 2 halogen lights, more than sufficient for the space it covers. Also the grill is dishwasher safe, so I put that in my Neff dishwasher! It has easy to select controls. as for noise, i feel it is a bit noisy but did not have the opportunity to ...

Maximum Aperture of 18-105 lens ? f4.5 to 5.6 depending on zoom setting.
File Sizes ? Range from 16.9 mb for a NEF picture (with its accompanying JPEG for easy reference) to the smallest JPEG at 0.4 mbyte. Given a storage card of 2 gbyte, this could store from a greedy 89 pictures to a staggering 3800 (and I bought an 8 gbyte card!).
Switch On Time ? 14 milliseconds, as near to instant as makes no difference by the time you let go of the switch.
Shutter Lag ? 65 milliseconds. Bear in mind this time is taken up with the auto-focus getting its act together anyway. Even so, compared to most compacts, this is an impressive figure ...

~~~Neff built in oven U1442~~~
We refitted our kitchen this time last year so I'm reviewing the items we carefully selected. Our previous kitchen was very basic but we'd saved quite a few penny's so spent a lot of time researching on what gadgets we could have to make our kitchen truly amazing.
Our previous oven was a double free gas standing oven which was well past its sell by date! so we opted to buy a built in electric double oven.
~Cost:
In total our oven cost £779 which was pretty expensive compared to some of the similar models but we did quite a lot of research and was very pleased with the reviews on this and other Neff models.
