Advantages: Very flexible usage; looks good Disadvantages: Wattage doesn't match standard microwave meals
We purchased this to supplement a Neff single oven so that we could grill at the same time as cooking in the oven. This was a constant source of frustration with our old single oven. This combination microwave has been a revelation - it has 5 microwave wattage settings varying from 90 up to 1000 watts. The only downside being that if you are doing microwave meals they are typically cooked at around 800 watts - most counter top microwaves are around this wattage. The closest this microwave gets to the 800 watt mark is 650. The highest wattage of 1000 is only suitable for heating up liquids and not food.
Having said that, the flexibility that this machine offers is amazing - it operates as an oven and a grill in its own right. However, where it comes into its own is the ability to combine microwave cooking with the oven facility ...

~~~Neff built in oven U1442~~~
We refitted our kitchen this time last year so I'm reviewing the items we carefully selected. Our previous kitchen was very basic but we'd saved quite a few penny's so spent a lot of time researching on what gadgets we could have to make our kitchen truly amazing.
Our previous oven was a double free gas standing oven which was well past its sell by date! so we opted to buy a built in electric double oven.

In total our oven cost £779 which was pretty expensive compared to some of the similar models but we did quite a lot of research and was very pleased with the reviews on this and other Neff models. Advantages: energy and water efficient, washes the dishes so you dont have to Disadvantages: the end of cycle beeping goes on a bit
I first encountered Neff when I kitted out the kitchen in my old house in 2006. when I moved house I had to leave them behind, so I needed a new dishwasher.
I did not hesitate in going back to Neff as I really like their products. Neff combines, function, form and design.
