...appliance the buttons and display are usually covered by the worktop, so you cannot see them. So what would be the use of the display if it is hidden during the cycle? I think this is where the floor light comes in as it is on during the cycle so you don't inadvertently open the door during a cycle.
There is only one thing I have to note on this appliance that I don't like and it is the end of cycle notification. It is a series of bleeps, I think 3 or 4 beeps within 30 seconds of each other which is fine if you are awake. However, this sequence of beeps continues 4-5 times (about 20 minutes apart) and can be quite loud if you have a small house or your bedroom is above the kitchen. I wish Neff would allow you to control the frequency or the volume of the notification or even whether you want a beep or not.

...Great quality and value, very happy with the product overall. It feels solid and I am thinking of replacing all my kitchen appliances with Neff appliances like this one. The service I got from http://www.internetkitchenappliances.co.uk/ was good and the price was very good too. I was surprised to see it came with a cook book and I have used it several times already!
The stay clean liners are very handy, I have never experienced them before but don't think I could live without them now. They make it so much easier to clean the oven. Also I have started using the automatic programmer and stopped guessing the cooking times and it seems to have much better results for food like cakes and breads. Very good product....
