This is a 17 inchTFT monitor, which I purchased about a year ago. And it has not disappointed me thus far.
From when I opened the box this screen was obviously a quality design. In the box was a driver disk, the right AC (monitor to computer) cable and all the necessary instructions.
The monitor itself is of two tone design. The top and side colour is a black/dark grey colour whilst the bottom appears slightly darker than in the image shown here.
The screen provides a crisp and clear image with no dead pixels and an excellent contrast ratio for vibrant on-screen colour. Another bonus of this model is its wide viewing angle. This basically means that the screen can be viewed clearly even when you are side-on to the front. This is surprisingly useful for when you are bending down to put CDs into the PC etc.
The only negative point really is the size and use of the menu navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen (bottom right side). In my opinion they are too small and I have found them to stick on occasions or just not respond to depression and need multiple attempts to get any response.
On a different note (a personal preference), the height if the screen itself as it stands on the table in front of me is a little low. It causes me to bend my neck downwards somewhat which could be bad if you have some neck pains already.
Overall I would say that it is a solid, well built and reliable screen although a few niggles as mentioned above could mean a different option is better for you.
