...This laptop is one of a kind at 1 inch thick, damn apple have made a good job of it too. This dream machine comes in two different ways, one with 400mhz and the other with 500mhz, there's one problem though the 500 mhz laptop is alot more than the 400mhz, about £600 difference.The machine comes at quite a hefty price being around £1900, but prices may depend on the shop, the 500 mhz is around £2500 but has a bigger disk drive and more memory.The Titanium powerbook G4 can play DVD's at great quality on a sceen just a centimetre thick!

Advantages: Good value for money, Good overclockablity, Heatspreaders Disadvantages: Better solutions out there i.e. XMS2, Only DDR400
...Recently purchased a pair of these modules, default settings are;
DDR400 (200 MHz)
3-3-3-8 Latency Values
2.6Volts
They are great Dimms, ideal for Overclockers in particular. Corsair is a reputable company known for developing stable modules which do not vary in terms of performance from stepping to stepping, so you can guarantee the results you get on one set of XMS 512mb will be identical to another.
Currently I have been able to reach up to 220 MHz with the necessary bios update. Latency values can also be topped up a fair bit. I have been able to reach 2-3-2-7 timings without any hassle or need of additional volts.
These Dimms come highly recommended for individuals using the older socket A and later 939 based motherboards.

A LITTLE HISTORY.
