... I have relished my Red Mountain, gone cuckoo over Kenco and I have even been tempted with Tescos own make! However, there is one coffee I have continued to keep going back to, over the years and that is Nescafe. To continue is this opening vain, I guess you could say I am nutty about Nescafe! ... ...caffeine and opted for decaf. Nescafe Decaffeinated, to be precise. Why, because too much caffeine is bad for you in many ways, and because I am getting older and my blood pressure is a little too high. First impressions last, don't they, and though I have been drinking decaf for a few months now, I remember tasting the first sips of Nescafe Decaffeinated well. I expected to be let down, to taste something that was wishy washy and bland. But the ... ...colour and wear the standard Nescafe logo. Once the lid is unscrewed, the paper tars of easily and the smell hits you like a slap from an angel's hand. The smell is different than normal coffee, but that is the only place where it differs.
A little history lesson: Nescafe was first produced in the 1930’s, when the Brazilian government first approached Nestle, who then set out at a way of making coffee simply by adding water. After seven years ...

...a couple of jars of Nescafe Decaf.
The jar
~~~~~~~
It is shaped almost like an hour-glass figure, very curvy. It has a red lid, and a red label to distinguish it from non-decaf, which a brown lid and a brown label.
The label shows a stemaing mug of black coffee surrounded by coffee beans.
The back shows what looks like a naked lady swimming (easy there gentlemen)
and says it is "Decaffeinated using only water for a great full flavour". (Some ... ...version.
I have drunk Nescafe original for years, and I can't taste any difference with their Decaf version. It is a slightly bitter coffee and I need to put quite a bit of milk (cream on Atkins) with it for it to taste smooth. It certainly isn't the best coffee you can buy, but it isn't the most expensive either. And conversely, its not the worst, but its not the cheapest.
The jar comes in various sizes and the cost will vary depending on the ...
Nescafe Decaffeinated isn’t much different to real coffee. I am one of those people, who, if I drink too much caffeine, I get migraines and become dizzy! I will never forget the time I fainted in an Art lesson! There I was sketching away, and boom! Out I went! So, straight to the docs’ to be told shattering news…
“Well, Matt. Its obvious what this is.” The doctor screeched.
“What, doctor?” ... ...the coffee shelf and found Nescafe Decaffeinated! My future…
So, I thought I might as well give it a go, and I was pleasantly surprised with its taste. I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between this and the original coffee. It was as tasty and it was very enjoyable…
The packaging is the same as Nescafe Original. A see-through glass jar, which shows you the granules inside. The granules aren’t like sugar! I have had ...
...up coming back to is Nescafe original decaffeinated.
I loathe cheap tasting coffee and rarely buy supermarket brands and I also dislike powdered coffee as I think it tastes really yucky.
Nescafe is a rich, full bodied and aromatic cuppa which really gives you the early morning wake up boost without the need for a heavy dose of caffine.
It comes in a granule form and not a frothy powder and therefore dissolves in water much better.
It isn’t too ... ...nasty aftertaste.
Nescafe comes in a glass jar with a brown and red label on the front and the price depends on which size jar you purchase.
Small jars are as little as 99p whilst some of the bigger jars can cost up to £5.
Nescafe do make other kinds of specialist coffees but in my eyes they simply can not beat the original variety.
The smell alone is rich and delicious and can almost supply you with that morning fix to wake you up.
I’d be lost ...
Nescafe decaf
I was once an avid coffee drinker unable to resist the smell of a newly opened jar of Nescafe?s finest and then like most things in life I deviated to other brands of coffee influenced by advertisers and colourful advertisements. I then fell even further and became a tea drinker even scraping the pit with raw tealeaves. During this wilderness I became confused with dissatisfaction and forgetting the taste of the former fix. I later, ... ...jar with the words ? Nescafe Original Decaf?, yes decaf as in decaffeinated! A word that conjures up a host of images including altruistic tree hugging and bible readings. The price for a 100-gram was £2.40, which was an average price for a similar quality brand. I was subliminally attracted to the contents. I was then thrown back to a past life when political correctness wasn?t good but evil and we weren?t our parents. I bought the jar
