Small, round chocolates, with a bubbly centre.
Most people have tried an Aero chocolate bar before, a milk chocolate bar filled with bubbles of air but have you tried Aero Bubbles?!!
Aero Bubbles are basically little round chocolates that look like Maltesers but are filled with air bubbles, just like a regular Aero bar. I tried these for the first time the other week and was pleasantly happy with them.
Aero’s are produced by Nestle but were first patented in 1935 by Rowntree's. According to Nestle, “Chocolate’s tastier when it melts and bubbly chocolate melts better. That’s why we fill Aero with bubbles and the reason you get such intense pleasure.”
I really like the taste of these Bubbles. They are covered all over with a layer of chocoalte and then inside is where you find the bubbles. I like this taste sensation. When you bite into one of the balls it does indeed melt on your tongue and you can feel the bubble inside. The bubbles are about the size of a malteser too so you can eat them in one bite if you wish but I find it’s more fun to bite into the middle of each one.
The bubbles come in milk chocolate flavour which is the flavour I tried or mint which I’m sure is just as nice.
I bought the big sharing bag of Aero Bubbles which cost £1.49 in Sainsburys. This bag weighs 135g and per quarter of a bag which is quite a lot of the bubbles there are 179 calories which is probably the same you would get from a regular sized chocolate bar but these are more fun, enjoy!!
