The Mint With a Hole...

Advantages taste great, cheap
Disadvantages none
Everyone needs to have fresh breath and besides brushing I think more people should eat mints to prevent bad breath. I tend to suck mints everyday for fear that I may have the dreaded halitosis which if found on someone can really put other people off conversing.
I paid just over 20 pence, which is the same as original Polo's and slightly less than other brands of breath mints. The wrapping of the spearmint flavour differs from the original only slightly with the more turquoise colouring instead of the classic dark blue and green.
The mints inside the wrapping also look different from your regular Polo, as they are quite speckled .in appearance with light blue sort of turquoise flavouring and the mint as a whole is shaded more blur than the usual white. Of course there is still the whole in the middle of the mint otherwise it wouldn't be a Polo at all.The flavour of these spearmint Polo's is indeed very different from your original mint flavour by them being far less minty and quite mild in taste. Of course the difference in taste from spearmint and fresh mint are always totally distinguishable and the use in these Polo mints is no different. The spearmint one does taste slightly sweeter and feels as though it wouldn't freshen your breath quite as much as the original flavour of Polo would.
Each mint lasts for a good while in the mouth when crunched it obviously goes quicker and after you have finished the minty freshness stays with you for a good 20 minutes or so. The taste really is very nice indeed; with sweet freshness oozing from every such with every turn in the mouth I enjoy it even more. The smell these mints give off is just the same as the taste. The freshness eases any worry of bad breath but the sweetness gives you a little sugar rush that you sometimes need throughout the day.
To summarise, I am was very pleased with my random purchase and have been buying these mints ever since (when I can find them as they are quite elusive). They give off a good amount of mintiness and are well worth the small amount I paid for themI am rating fairly and these mints only deserve the highest possible mark which in my books is 5*s and those stars are little gold ones!
