Still a good netbook

Advantages: Good ergonomics, rugged, good battery life, matte screen
Disadvantages: Touchpad is a bit small and doesn't have separate buttons

Samsung's NC10 is a very good netbook. I bought it in December 2008, as a Christmas gift for my mother. I wanted to teach her how to use the internet, but honestly, getting her a netbook was a bad choice. Why? Because her eyesight is worsening, and the small screen annoyed her to no end. Review of Samsung NC10

Perfect for Travellers wanting to keep in touch.

I bought this Netbook as I travel a lot, it is small, lightweight and quick to start up, which was much needed as my older Laptop was beginning to irritate me. The netbook comes on within 15 seconds and the Battery lasts most times around 6-7 hrs although when using Skype etc it lasts around 3hrs on a single charge which is long enough to keep in touch once at the hotel. The operating system is not the best, although as said if not using it for anything ...

Installing new applications is very difficult, and I regularly needed to consult others online to find better ways of doing things, but as in other posts, with a windows operating system you would not find a better netbook.
