Still a good netbook

Advantages: Good ergonomics, rugged, good battery life, matte screen
Disadvantages: Touchpad is a bit small and doesn't have separate buttons

Samsung's NC10 is a very good netbook. I bought it in December 2008, as a Christmas gift for my mother. I wanted to teach her how to use the internet, but honestly, getting her a netbook was a bad choice. Why? Because her eyesight is worsening, and the small screen annoyed her to no end. For surfing the web this is just the ticket.

Advantages: Small, compact, good battery life
Disadvantages: Expensive for a notebook

Compaq Mini 700 brilliant little thing

Advantages: Very portable, can take it anywhere!
Disadvantages: Battery life noy very long

I love this little thing! After borrowing my neighbour's Compaq Mini 700 when my PC packed up, i went out and bought one! It's great for using the internet and storeing my work on. It's very light weight and portable. It just slips into my baby changing bag perfect for when i am out and about.I can use it while i am in waiting rooms for docters appointments ect.
