I have recently just aquired wireless internet, and i have to say that is is absolutely fantastic. i can use the internet on my laptop in my bed sitting on the couch and even eating my dinner!! you will probobly say to yourself so can i? but i can do this without the use of wires. so the house is tidier and there is no where i cant go to use the internet in my house.

Netgear is a make that is very good for things such as wireless routers or wireless adapters to create a wireless connection. the DG834PN is a good wireless router. This is the rangemax version which means that you have a bigger area that is covered for you to use your internet whilst still keeping a strong signal. With the rangemax you can go to places in your house that you may not be able to go with other wireless routers.
What you re getting for your money
With this netgear model you are getting a modem built in with a wireless router. this means that you do not need a seperate modem connected aswell as the wireless router. again this saves space and keeps things looking neater and tidier. You are also gatting a product where you ont need to buy seperate appliances to extend the range on the wireless router or other appliances such as antennas. this product has a good enough range to never need to buy these seperate products. i live in quite a bit house and the signal strength is always on full! the design of the rangemax itself is also a creadict as it looks very modern and small it can be put anywhere without looking like an eyesore it is a what i would say small white device.the DG834PN rangemax comes with a firewall that enables you to surf free and easy without worrying about security
The rangemax technology
the rangemax technology uses seven antennas that are built into the device itself. this means that the router is always looking for obstrucitons that may effect the signal strength that you recieve. so when moving around the house the rangemax changes the signal so that the signal stays strong and your internet experiences remains fast.
Ease of use
the device is very easy to set up in the home. you just plug a dsl box into your phone line. this is a box where you can connect your phone and your wire for the wireless router. you then plug the power lead in and you are set up after installing your internet on your computer easy as 123!!
I have not listed any disadvantages as i dont beleive there to be any this is a product that has the thumbs well up from myself. i would definitely reccomend this as a star buy and a must have for internat users
