Advantages: Range and Speed Disadvantages: Overheats
...The Netgearrouter is an essential piece of kit for anyone setting up wireless networks at home. I run the router directly to my PC, and then another PC and a laptop run off it wireless. The router has a fantastic range, and it also so easy to use. I currently use Pipex broadband, and there has never been any conflict with the internet gateway. From setting the router up 6 months ago to now, I have only had one problem with it, and that was the heat it produces. Try and use a small portable fan if you can to keep it cool. Netgear say the router can withstand the heat from being constantly on, but try and keep it in an open space as best you can. The 54mb speed means that you can download simultaneously with other PC's or laptops and the speed isn't greatly affected. I found the range to be so great, I could sit next door...

Advantages: Stylish, Cheap Disadvantages: Lots of problems with holding connection.
...This is not netgears finest product I have owned. The router seems to lose connection periodically and needs to be reset 2 or 3 times a day. I had the original product replaced by retailer but after a couple of days of everything being fine the problem appeared again I have emailed Netgears Customer service but still waiting for reply. I have used netgear products before and never had any problems with them before. The router does feature full 54 mbps for Ian over Wireless and also has four wired ports for connection to the device. It also features all of the latest wireless security technologies the admin setup page is also easy to use and setup security functions. If netgear can sort the problem of it resetting then the product is good value for money....

Advantages: Strong signal. Easy setup. Good price on bundle with Disadvantages: Only had the router for a little over a month. Have not found any problems at the moment.
...I've only had the router for about a month. Fortunately, haven't found any problems. IT is a very good machine and it takes it really easy to set up. The instructions are really helpful and easy to follow. It took me about five to ten minutes to get it running and connected to the web. As noted above, no problems found at the moment. This router is relatively cheap comparing to other, hence paying good price for the same equipment that could be priced up to $150. Fortunately, I was able to find this deal on Justdeals.com for about $35 bucks. The merchant does free shipping and able to deliver the router within five business days. I highly recommend it....

When I first heard of this product, I really wasn't convinced. First of all Netgear's claim that it can operate at 270mb which is more than 2 times that of a standard home/office 10/100mb network and a good deal more than my old 54g (30mb+/-) router's... more
