Advantages: Some good characters and fun storylines, great use of computer graphics Disadvantages: Some bland characters and boring plots, age certificate too generous
Music and movies should seem like a winning combination; both at the heart of the modern day entertainment industry, you only have to look as far back as the 1960's when the Beatles released five films, each centred around their own creations, it shows that sometimes it just works. Well, perhaps not for the Magical Mystery Tour but still...
Yet, where it can be a winning formula for a great film, it can also be a disastrous black pit; if one element isn't quite up to scratch, the rest of it can fall apart at the seams and make for an excessively boring watch.
'Garage Days' narrowly misses this black pit by a millimetre. Whilst it strictly isn't all about the relationship between music and cinematic artistry, its main plot focuses around a post grunge, punkish, wannabe rock group out in Australia, who are desperate to get their big ...
Advantages: Cheap booze, great music! Disadvantages: Really busy most nights
I might not be the best person to review this place because im a student, and living in Glasgow this is usually where i end up every thursday night!

On a Friday and Saturday its around £8 for non-students and at the moment £4 fr students (again with ID). On entering the Garage, you will probably wait ages in the queue - thats because its always so busy (especially thursdays!!). The bouncers insist on seeing some form of ID - preferably student ID on designated nights - so be prepared and always have it ready (they hate time-wasters). There is another way to get inside, thats ...

Advantages: Excellent quality, Great play value, very tough Disadvantages: Assembly time, Cost, A bit big.

It is expensive. I got it for £34.99 from Toys R Us on line at christmas but that was an offer and I have noticed it has gone back up to £49.99 now. That said, it is worth it for the quality.
It came in a huge box, which when opened revealed loads of pieces to be assembled and a manual. This was a bit daunting but I had read in other reviews that if you intend to give it as a present then ensure that you assemble it first as no child would have ...
