"...I do shop around and Netto is a fantastic store for the odd treat and the basics. The first Netto store was opened in the UK in Leeds in 1990 and now in 2006 there are 136 stores up and down the UK and constant plans for many more stores. Netto is also one of the most recognised supermarkets in Europe with over 362 stores in Denmark, 223 stores in Germany as well as stores in Poland and Sweden. It's no dogs end product supermarket

Advantagescheap; weekly stock additions and discounts; different branded products

DisadvantagesOh dear, oh dear

Perhaps you might find it useful and/or amusing to hear of my experiences in this European shopping nightmare... The store had only been open for three weeks or so, and upon realising that we didn't have enough "easy meals" in the house (for when we really couldn't be bothered cooking) I decided to pop in for a few odds and ends, hoping I ..."
