belkin 54g router.
Review of Belkin 54g Wireless Cable/DSL Router by
gregory-j
Advantages: durable.
Disadvantages: can cut out without warning leaving you to troubleshooting it.
The belkin 54g wireless router is very good when it comes to a strong signal, yet i still find it immensly annoying!!! When its running smoothly, it is no problem what so ever, but every now and then, maybe once every week or so, the signal will cut out for no reason and you will find yourself VERY frustrated when trying to retrieve it. apart from this minor annoyance, the belkin is generally a very good piece of kit for your money. I payed around ... ...plastic and cheap. the belkin is very easy to use and can easily be reset with the little push button on the back if it does decide to go a bit off the rails. its easy to set up and get running ASAP. and easy to set up privacy walls and security. the speed that the belkin 54g router generally runs at is anything from 30-50mbps depending on your network provider. the belkin 54g is probably one of the best on the market for your money, but i think ...

Cyber-Mark

Dis Was Awful
Don't Want Another
Don't Waste Any (money on this adapter)

Wireless ready!
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter Network adapter by
cstanley_2
Advantages: Plug-and-Play
Disadvantages: Pricey!
...itself so cheap and appealing, Microsoft aim (as always) to make their money on the peripherals, which everybody needs for the full gaming experience.
Nevertheless, this does exactly what it says on the box (sorry to be cliched).
Plug-and-Play, as expected, you connect it to your console and through your dashboard, search for your wireless connection and, with your WEP key or security key at hand, you can instantly connect to your network.
Perfect ...

Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
Review of Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection by
123fearnley
Advantages: Reliable, Fast, Cheap adapter.
Disadvantages: Only provides 802.11 a/b/g, whereas N is much faster for not much money.
...I chose to go for Intel this time, a great choice!
This card is much more reliable in terms of not dropping the signal, and, I find that I get a better overall reception, boosting speeds everywhere.
For the convenience that this card gives, it is a great buy, if your note book has the port for one, it is much better than an external wireless adapter, just because it is hidden away inside the case, not adding any extra bulk to your notebook.
Installation ...

Jar_Dude
Advantages: Plug and play, easy to use.
Disadvantages: It is external, meaning not inside your computer.
...breaking, or being lost. Linksys is the leading networking brand and is very reliable, and there when you need it. The software provided gives you an easy to use network monitor which gives you the option to connect to what network you wish, save the network as a profile, and show the best link connection/speed. It has support for USB 2.0 and also USB 1.1 so it will work great on older computers. It is compatible with Windows 98SE, 2000, ME, XP, ...
