Internet Wireless
Advantages: wireless Disadvantages: sometimes low speed
At first I was skeptical, not that I could work ... At home my phone is fixed on the ground floor and the pc the first floor. I have to spend a lot of money to get internet (cable or wireless equipment expensive) when I informed about the possibility of exploiting or not the wireless modem on my phone, I said that enough to buy this stick from 40 € (30 £).
To my pleasure I have verified that it works perfectly, I never drop the phone line, the installation ... ...PC automatically searches for the signal and if the modem is turned on it connects: done.
No matter how many walls, doors closed, phones and TV are among us, I can navigate safely is incredible, really a good buy.
The package includes a USB cable for direct it better and sticker to paste your computer no longer move them.
The only thing is that when checking signal strength is low, and has never improved, so I do not know if he can get better ...

Easy wireless extension
Advantages: Easy to install, up and running within 15 minutes Disadvantages: Wall units seem to get very hot, very quickly
...it was to get the Netgear WGXB102 wireless booster kit up and running - it genuinely was a 15-minute job from opening the parcel to connecting to the extended wireless network. The package consists of a quick start installation guide, extensive documentation in several languages on the accompanying CD, and the hardware itself: two plug-in units and an Ethernet cable (this is only about 1 metre long, which is a bit on the short side). The quick installation ... ...power boosted), plus a new Netgear entry in the list. This is an unsecured network as default, but you can change the settings to allow the entry of an access key if you want to employ the same security settings as you have for the primary network. The WGXB102 is not cheap, costing anywhere in the region of 80-100 pounds from most electronics retailers. However, some suppliers abroad do provide it at a much reduced price and I found a good deal from ...

The perfect router
Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, many features, secure, small, good looking Disadvantages: None
I had this router for well over two years and in that time it worked brilliantly.
It is easy to set up, you just plug it in then use your web browser to go to the control panel, not installation or software is needed.
You can manage the many settings inside the control panel. You can change all the huge amount of features such as security, encryption, two firewalls and many more features.
You can easily use this router for home servers using port ... ...using the managment interface.
It is easy to upgrade to the newest firmware, which is advisable. Since the newest versions are more secure and generally better.
Only in the end did this reliable router break down during a thunderstorm, but it went with my computer, printer and other stuff (so it wasn't the router's fault).
Overall this is really great value for money, even for limited computer users. ...

WG302, connect me up before you gogo
Advantages: Good coverage, twin Antenna, easy to use interface Disadvantages: None
...land rover. Strong and durable. Netgear seem to have mastered the art of making business products that are actually suitable for the job.
I have configured our WG302's primarily as main access points to our network for our visiting users. There isn't much you need to do to get up and running as long as you have a little advance knowledge of how to configure a wireless network. Netgear configuration interfaces are legendary for there ease of use ... ...you do have issues then Netgear support website is also very useful, full of information on the product.
Once you have the router up and running there is nothing else left other than mounting it somewhere, either on a desk/unit or flat against the wall using the provided screws and mount points on the base of the unit.
In operation the signal strength of the 302 is very good. My initial unit was setup in the far corner of an L shaped office. Coverage ...

Fast and easy wireless
Advantages: Fast, Easy installation, small, built in aerial Disadvantages: None
...a wireless card. Having a Netgear router, I decided to go for a Netgear card, and came away with the WPN511. Netgear is also a respected and trusted name in networking for homes and businesses, with a reputation for simple, functional and good value products.
The card itself is roughly credit card size, and about 5mm thick, with a roughly 30mm extension on the end that sticks out of the computer and contains the aerial and some lights. It is very ... ...a little harder with none Netgear networks, although wireless standards are all compatible, so it will work. It allows full use of most current wireless networks, with speeds of up to 108Mbps. Range depends on the router, and also environmental factors, but seems good. The router is in one of the front bedrooms, yet I've never had a problem accessing the network in the back garden. Again, I expect best results would be achieved with a Netgear router ...
