02 Network & Broadband

Advantages: PAYG Text Packs - Free 02 to 02...
Disadvantages: Not 3g, 'Bleep bleep bleep' on fridays!!

Biggest Network In the UK. 02 has been around for years, started off as BT Cellnet....then it took off from there... I remember the 1p text's..yes Im old!!!! I like 02, I used them when I was PAYG, I was on a great PAYG Tariff which let me call my friends on 02 for free. Great thing about 02 is the benefit of a variety of the Tariffs. My daughter uses 02 and all her friends do aswell so they can talk to each other for littel money. Text Packs are ...
...300txts to use on the following mth. £30 Top up gets you unlimited texts aswell - but I think that is a bit expensive these days considering the Contract Packages available from other networks... but if you have problems with Credit checks or your a youngster, then 02 is perfect. Bit of a problem with them is their customer service, its no the worst by anymeans, but you can be waiting to get put through to an advisor. Netwrok reliability is not great ...

3 network, threepay

Advantages: when you top up with the minimum of £10 you get free messages and internet data
Disadvantages: the reception can play up quite a bit

I like the 3 network because of it offers free messenger and skype and u get free messages and internet data when u top up with a minimum of £10. It is frustrating when the reception plays up which can happen quite a bit sometimes but I would still recomend it to people. and wepay is good, you get paid everytime someone texts or rings you, EXAMPLE if the wepay reaches £12 you will have to top up withe £20 to get the £12, or if you have £8 wepay you ...

Review of 3 ThreePay Pay As You Go

Save money with Mates Rates!! :)

Advantages: Saves lots of money if your friends are with T-Mobile
Disadvantages: The tariff applies only if you call T-Mobile Numbers

...though :) its only for T-Mobile users. So this tariff applies only if you text or call T-Mobile users. Nowadays it is quite hard to distinguish weather you are calling a T-Mobile or other network because the person you are calling to might have a number that looks like T-Mobile but its not as they have switched to Orange or 02 using the number they used to have with T-Mobile. So its always better to ask! I think this tariff saves you quite a lot ...
...which is much better in my opinion! That is why I have got another mobile with a monthly tariff :) I think T-Mobile in general is a network provider that is a good value for money with quality customer service and good line quality! So - go for it!! ...

Virgin Mobile Pay as You Go - I'll be sticking with these guys

Advantages: Great network coverage, good website, easy topups, choose you tariff
Disadvantages: Not many free rewards

I have been with virgin mobile for several years now and am very pleased with them. They have brilliant coverage, the only place I have not got a signal before was in the middle of nowhere in Wales! They provide free voicemal which few providers seem to give you on pay as you go. I have never had any problems topping up and their tariffs seem reasonable though not cheap. Something I do really like is the option to switch between different tariffs ...
...you mostly use you phone for. They have a good website allowing you to view your most recent calls, texts and topups The only thing is that they have never seemed too keen to give out free rewards such as free minutes or texts. However, recently I think this has been improving and I just have not been topping up enough to get the rewards. The picture messaging and WAP was a little difficult to set up but once I'd found it on their website it was ...

Review of Virgin Mobile Pay As You Go

02. Not the best.

Advantages: 300 Free Texts
Disadvantages: Customer Support

Good Points 300 texts and 1Mb of GPRS OR 100 minutes and 1Mb Of GPRS Free when you top-up £10.00 each month. Bad Points Customer service 02 branding on phones Calls cost too much General Comments I had been with 02 for a year when I found out about their online tariffs, which aren't what they say they are. When I first received their free Sim card through the post, I put it into my phone and I got free text messages without topping up. This ...
...£10.00 each month. Then one month I didn't top up. The month after I did, and I only received 30 messages. I contacted 02 who said they were sorry. I then heard of EasyMobile with 15p calls and 5p texts, so I changed my network. 02 said I had to pay £15.00 for my phone to be unlocked, so I got it unlocked at a local shop. After I bought my new Sim card and everything else, my phone was still branded with the 02 goodbye and 02 active logos. I asked ...
