...back and other areas. The Neutrogena Visible Clear Body Wash costs around £4.99 at Boots for 250ml which for some is quite expensive. I havent actually seen it sold anywhere else. I thought it was worth a try as summer was approaching and I didn’t want a spotty bod in vest tops!!

For worser skins I can imagine it being very successful! Just listen to the warnings of your body! If it is uncomfortable to use, STOP!!!

I have always been blessed with perfect skin. Throughout puberty I was very fortunate not to get spots ever!!! And that is God honest truth. Boy am I paying now!
Even throughout my pregnancy with Zach, my skin was fantastic but since then, boy oh boy!! My friends say it serves me right when I used to tease them as teenagers. You could guarantee when we were due to go out for a disco or something, one or more of them would have a zit breakout!
In the last couple of years I have been getting really bad spots on my forehead but especially on my shoulders and chest. I don’t mean little spots I mean great craters that glow bright purple!!! Although the oil levels in my skin seem to reach a high at certain times of the month, my skin is generally quite dry and sensitive so finding a product that did all the jobs required was quite hard!
I was recommended to try Neutrogena. I have heard of their moisturisers so thought I would give them a go. They have a specific product for the body areas such as the chest, back and other areas. The Neutrogena Visible Clear Body Wash costs around £4.99 at Boots for 250ml which for some is quite expensive. I havent actually seen it sold anywhere else. I thought it was worth a try as summer was approaching and I didn’t want a spotty bod in vest tops!!
The body wash comes in an orange bottle. The packaging has changes slightly to the image shown by Ciao so I have uploaded a new image. There is little attractive about the packaging. You just have to trust the reputation of the company. The actual gel itself is orangey coloured too. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately there is no scent to the body wash. There is a slight medicinal and even tinny smell to the wash. I suppose the more coloured and fragranced the product, the harsher on the skin!?! The body wash does contains extracts of chamomile and aloe vera which are re-knowned for their kindness to the skin. They help to soften and referesh the skin.
The bottle, like most products states that if irritation occurs, you should discontinue use. As it seems more clinical than the average body wash, you tend to take more notice! On the first usage I did tend to use quite sparingly as I do have mildly sensitive skin. I did feel a slight tingling sensation and me being me did not discontinue use. I just continued to use sparingly! Although my skin felt a little hot after usage, I persisted and the heat did die down.
After a few uses, I seemed to become accustomed and it did not cause any irritation. I used a little bit on a sponge and it seemed to go a lon way. The gel is quite runny too be careful when you pour it! Also, as the gel is not fragranced you are not left smelling chemically! You can always just use a bit of smelly body lotion or even just use a bit of a scented shower gel but I think this may defeat the object a little. After a couple of weeks the blemishes did begin to clear up. My skin was slightly dry but I used a good moisturizer and I had no problems. I do not use Neutrogena in every shower as I would suffer .
For worser skins I can imagine it being very successful! Just listen to the warnings of your body! If it is uncomfortable to use, STOP!!! The product costing just under a fiver is ideal for me as a bottle lasts me months! The small amount I use well makes up for the price. As it specifically specifies for use on oily and spot prone skin, do not be tempted to use on your face if not needed! It may flake off!!
Regular use of the Neutrogena Visible Clear Body Wash will control and reduce spots and blemishes. Use as often or as little as required to control your personal breakout. If your skin is not at all sensitive then this product will be perfect for you. But, like I said listen to your body!
Thank you reading and hope this was useful to you!
Advantages: Apparently very effective at banishing spots in those lucky enough not to have sensitive skins. Disadvantages: The effectiveness of the product may actually work against it to cause irritaion in those with sensitive skins
...my life, ever!’ Love-Hewitt & Neutrogena had finally realised that, ‘guys & girls get breakouts other places than their face’, I rushed to my nearest Boots excited at the prospect of slipping into my skimpy summer wardrobe with confidence. The very first thing that you can’t fail to notice about this product is that at £4.99 a pop, it’s a mite more expensive than your average shower gel. However the beautiful, glowing, ... ...of weeks would more than make up for the expense. The packaging and the product itself seem to have been cleverly designed to look reassuringly medicinal. A sterile looking clear bottle containing an orange/brown liquid, that looks for all the world like cough medicine, gives a strong impression that this product is a no nonsense powerful formula that is so good it should be prescribed by a doctor. Promising stuff, but does it deliver what it promises?

Advantages: It works!!! Disadvantages: A few, but nothing that should put you off buying it (see op)
...was somewhat sceptical about the Neutrogena product, but thought I would still give it a chance.
The product costs £4.99 for 250ml, which is a little more expensive than most shower gels, but as you are only using it on a small area of your body it is fairly good value. It is not particularly attractively packaged, and doesn't really look good in your shopping basket - especially as it proclaims "For oily and spot prone skin" on the bottle! Also ... ...looks functional however, which I suppose is the main point of the product. The gel itself is quite thin in consistency which is good as you can use a small amount at a time. I found that for best results you need to use it on a body puff as it goes a lot further and it is much easier to get a lather and rub it in everywhere that it is needed. It has a medicated smell, which is not the most attractive of scents, but is certainly not unpleasant, and ...

...off with Jennifer introducing how Neutrogena works and stating why Neutrogena have developed such a product. This product concerns with the breakout of spots ON THE BODY. She then wiggles, waves her hands in the air and stares at the white background behind her and then pretending she’s going to take the bath-towel off. Occasionally, it'll break away to a mystery man who is taking a shower. She spreads the message considerably well although as body ...

...same for most of the Neutrogena products. I found it didnt dry your skin out but kept it feeling more hydrated than most of the other shower gels out there.
Once youve used this for a month, you will notice the difference it has made to your skin, blackheads start to go, outbreaks are reduced and your skin feels much smoother. If you go back to your normal shower gel, you will notice the difference within a week.
One comment i have had is that ... ...that the tablets caused paralysis in some people after a few months usage, and my doctor even advised me to stop taking them as that is still a side effect most doctors wont tell you. Reviews which might be of interest for "Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash"
Advantages: Leaves you with soft skin, smells nice Disadvantages: Doesn't live up to it's claims of clearing your skin
Being someone who suffers from fairly spotty skin i thought this stuff would be brilliant for clearing it up, it appears to be one of very few shower gels on the market that claim to clear up your skin. I, however have found this product to be very disapointing it makes your skin very soft, which most shower gels do in my experience, but it hasn't cleared up my skin at all. Being a student i don't like paying too much for my toiletries, this was charged at over three pounds which i wouldn't usually pay. If it had effectively cleared my skin I would agree that it is worth the money, but as it only does the same job a normal bodywash would I would not reccomend it because there are many other less expensive bodywashes on the market which do the same thing. ...
Advantages: See opinion Disadvantages: See footnote (although this has not affected my overall rating of the product as it is a personal view)
it would do if I hadn?t used the bodywash. I do suffer from spots on my chest and back, so tend to avoid this area when using the bodywash, as it is so rich that I think it would exacerbate this problem. (Incidentally I use NeutrogenaBodyClearBodyWash for my spot-prone areas, and have written an opinion on this one too in case anyone is interested!)
Using any kind of bodywash, such as this one, is also beneficial because the massaging action of rubbing the product into the skin with a body puff improves circulation, exfoliates and may even reduce the appearance of cellulite (and anything which does this MUST be good!)
Just over a year ago Olay also brought out Daily Renewal BodyWash, which was designed to rejuvenate older skins, and was originally very similar in packaging to the Moisturising BodyWash. They then changed ...
