Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo Dry Hair

I have been using some of the Tigi branded hair care products now for a while. I had been alternating between a couple of their bed head products and when I couldn’t get hold of one I opted for a Tigi shampoo and conditioner set that I had not used before, and will never be using again! The shampoo and conditioner left my hair with what can only be described as a mask over it and with a really itchy scalp and almost like a greasy film. I then had to go and get some shampoo that would help get rid of these symptoms and so I decided to get the Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo. I opted for the Dry hair product and here are my thoughts.

The Shampoo is one that can be found in a number of different places. The shampoo is worth shopping around for as the price can vary on this one. The shampoo which I got was the smaller 125ml bottle and this will cost you around the £4.00 mark. There is a larger bottle, the 250ml bottle and this will cost around the £6.50 mark. I have seen offers on in places like the regular Supermarkets as well as high street stores such as Boots, Superdrug and Savers.

The shampoo that I brought came in a clear bottle, this bottle was rectangular as opposed to round and so you could see the shampoo through it. We are told that the shampoo will decrease the film that has built up in your hair after first use. The shampoo will then leave hair looking bright. The bottle has the name of the product on the front as well as the Neutrogena logo. On the reverse of the bottle is information on the ingredients that have been used as well as directions for use.

We are told that there is an exclusive mixture of 5 different ingredients that will leave hair sorted after this first wash so I was keen to give it a go. The shampoo is dispensed from the top of the bottle and it of quite a thick consistency. It is not at all runny and you only need a small amount for this to work in to a really rich and creamy lather. The shampoo also rinses really well. I must point out that I used this shampoo with the matching conditioner from the same range and so this probably had an added effect on the condition of my hair.

It is quite difficult to explain the scent of the shampoo, it is not to chemical like or medical and instead quite fresh and I guess it just leaves your hair smelling clean. The main thing for me is that after using it a couple of times I noticed a real difference in my hair, the itching had gone, as had the flaky scalp. I remember prior to using this T gel shampoo that when I would run my hands through my hair it would feel like a sticky moisture, almost the residue was there but as I say, after a couple of washes this was soon gone.

In summary, I have nothing but praise for this shampoo, it worked a treat for my problems and even though it is not one that I feel I would need to use all the time, it is a great one to have in the cupboard!
