Most of my reviews, as any of you who have read a fair few of them will know, have so far tended to be reviews in praise of products I really like and use regularly. For a little while I've been suffering from a seriously flaky scalp. Not attactive. I'd been using own brand anti dandruff shampoos for a few months but these gradually became less and less effective as time went on and they had a nasty side effect of making my hair rather heavy and difficult to manage. What is worse than an itchy head? a husband with an itchy head! My husband has always had greasy hair and has been troubled from time to time by dandruff, but, a couple of months ago this started to escalate until he was really mithered, (a good Lancastrian word), by a very itchy head and nasty flaky scalp. Having spent most of my teenage years being plagued by what I believed to be dandruff I have tried and tested most of the anti-dandruff shampoos on the market and none of them seemed to work. My mum and I were baffled as to why my dandruff seemed to be he-man, superduper strength and immune to everything we tried. What’s this? ME, the third Duke Of Winborne - HERE? Writing about a shampoo? WhatEVER was I thinking of? Well, I thought, follically-challenged or not, every other b***** has so why not me? - although I mssed out on the competition to write a shampoo op. So here goes.
