Thank you very much for all the reads and rates and comments and things! :) Also started to write on Dooyoo under the name of 'Beanie85'. Trying to write different reviews for each site, though I might have a couple on both sites!

I was in Superdrug a little while ago and I saw these 'Blackhead Eliminating Daily Cleansing Cushions' and I thought they looked great! I have some blackheads on my nose and chin so I bought these and off I went home eager to try them out.
The packaging is quite attractive. The product comes in a cardboard box which has a lid that lifts up and reveals the face pads inside in a clear plastic bag. The box has 'Visibly Clear' written on the top of it with information about the product written along the sides. It has the classic orange Neutrogena colour covering the top half of the top of the box and the rest of the box in a silver/grey colour.
You get 22 of these cleansing cushions in the pack. They are circular is shape and are two soft cottonwool-like cylinders attached together with a space at the bottom like a pocket so you can fit your fingers inside in order to be able to use them with ease.
You use both sides of the cushion to clean your face. You start with the side which has tiny little orange beads on it which are meant to exfoliate your face. This creates a nice lather, and then you turn the pad over and use the smooth side which has 'blackhead fighting ingredients'.
As soon as I had used them my skin started stinging and my face went a bit red and blotchy. I applied moisturiser and the next day my skin was fine again so I thought maybe I'll give it another go, and I did. Unfortunately the same thing happened. And on top of that I didn't even get to clear my blackheads up! I gave these away to one of my friends. She hasn't seemed to have had any problems with these so I will put it down to my skin type. Which is actually normally quite good! It states on the packet 'gentle enough for everyday use' but I guess these just disagreed with me. I wouldn't recommend these if you have sensitive skin!
These have a good shelf life of 12 months after opening. Which is a good long time since there are only 22 pads in the pack and you will certainly have used them up in that time if you use one a day (They are called 'Daily Cleansing Cushions')
I also think that these are not really environmentally friendly. You are using quite a large face pad, which only lasts for one face wash before you have to throw it away. So if you use these regularly you are creating a lot of waste!
The Neutrogena range is widely available at chemists and supermarkets and high street department stores such as boots and Superdrug. The cost of them is around £3.50.
I have used Neutrogena products before and have been really pleased with the effects but I think I will steer well clear of these in the future!

Good review - the adverts for these things annoy me because the models they use always have skin that is just too perfect to be believable. Actually, looking at the price of these, £3.50 for 22 pads is pretty expensive, too.

I could do with some of these, but think I'll leave them on the shelf, good review though
