Johnny English, (played by Rowan Atkinson both on the adverts and this movie) is a British secret service member, spoofing the likes of James Bond. Unfortunately, he is as competent as Inspector Jacques Clouseau (from the Pink Panther films) which does lead him into some tricky situations. His partner, Bough, pronounced 'Boff', (played by Ben Miller) is the silent hero of the movie, always allowing Johnny to take full credit ...

or the staff). I was getting really excited. The Executive Chef is Gary Volkov. I had heard of him! We were unsure what to expect and had only read the description from the concierge’s guidebook. At One if by Land, Two if by Sea the dinner experiences wonderful, enjoying seasonal American cuisine fused with French cuisine in an 18th century landmark carriage house formerly owned by Aaron Burr. Flickering candle lights and live piano music enhance the colonial atmosphere. The restaurant only offers a three-course, prix-fixed menu for $63, seven nights a week. The menu does change seasonally and it is always full of aphrodisiacs like raw oysters, caviar and chocolate. It also offers the diner the fixed price 7-course Chef's tasting menu every night for $79, or $125 paired with wines, in addition to the 3-course menu. Not cheap I know but ...

Review of One If By Land, New York

New English EP is refreshing and new

Advantages: Songs are unique
Disadvantages: Some songs are on the album, and it also seems a little short

When i first put this CD into my player, I immediately loved it. From the cover of Pink Floyd's Fearless to the demo version of Sugar Pill. All the songs on this EP are amazing, and they all sound unique and imaginitive for a band of this genre. The band have some similarities to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, although I do actually prefer Ambulance Ltd. Stand out songs include: Sugar Pill, Straight A's and, New English I never usually listen to bands of this genre as I find them depressing and voring, however Ambulance Ltd are one of the exceptions as they make though provoking music which doesn't leave you in floods of tears. The only disadvantage I can think of for this EP is that there aren't enough songs on it. Although that would then defeat the point of it being an EP. This EP is most definately worth the money ...
