Advantages: easy to read Disadvantages: not appealing
I was bought this when I went to university. My auntie bought it me thinking that it would suddenly turn me into the next Deliah Smith or something but it didn't really have this effect on me at all! I didn't really use it and it was a good job it was quite a cheap buy so I didn't feel guilty for the fact it sat on my book shelf, hidden by all the huge text books I had to buy!
Who is it for?
This book is really very obviously aimed at students as you can tell by the title; "The NewStudents' Cook Book". When I first saw it I presumed that a cook book for students would contain very quick and simple recipes. When I was a student I didnt have much time for cooking and if I did want to cook something instead of order the usual pizza I didn't want to spend hours reading a recipe or fiddling around in the kitchen. Advantages: Gorgeous smell, soothing, moisturising and I now have Practically Normal Skin! Disadvantages: Can't tell when the pump is running out
"Why I started using"
I have always been quite lucky with my skin except for it's sensitivity. For years I was even using E45 as a moisturiser as anything else just felt as if it aggravated my skin, making it "nippy" upon application. I tried Dermalogica products being assured that the products are free of common irritants - obviously my skin doesn't just react to the common irritants as I still found my skin prone to flare ups and aggravated by the products at times.

I have been using Liz Earle's products for just over two years and purchase them through QVC- The Shopping Channel. You are always offered a very good deal, especially if the items are in the TSV (Today's Special Value), which Liz's are every 3 months approximately. The starting point for her products is the Cleanse and Polish. This creamy substance comes in a basic but attractive container which is sealed in such a way that only the amount you squeeze out is in contact with the air, meaning that every new squeeze is hygienic. Firstly squeeze out one pump of the Cleanse and Polish and wipe it over your face and neck. It is also OK to use this over the eye area and it will remove light eye make-up.
