***THEIR RANGES*** * Tall - Their tall range has been especially selected and proportioned to fit all ladies who are 5ft 7 or taller. They do a range or trousers, skirts, tops & outerwear. * Maternity - This has been especially designed and adapted to fit perfectly throughout your pregnancy without compromising your size of style. In the maternity range you can buy trousers, Dressers, Skirts, Tops and outer-wear. * Inspire - This offers up to size 26 clothes and includes all the latest trends and styles, including trousers, dresses, tops, skirts, blouses and outerwear. * Teens - This range includes everything from trousers and skirts, to jeans swim-wear, under-wear and more. * Men's - This includes all the obvious items including trousers, Jumpers, Hoodies, Jeans, Shirts, T-Shirts and more.

Blouses & Shirts - This includes all the latest colours/patterns and also smarter styles for work.
Jeans - New Look stock a large range of jeans in different styles and cuts. These include Boot cut, Low Rise, Skinny Flare. Straight Cut & Shorts & Skirts.
Trousers - This includes smart black trousers, combats and cotton trousers and plain joggers.
Knitwear - Includes Cardigans & Jumpers in a range of different patterns and styles.
Outerwear - This includes Coats, Jackets and their leather range which proves to be very popular.
Tailoring - They also stock a large range of suits including jackets, shirts/blouses, trousers & skirts.
Footwear - My favourite part of New Look with a large range of boots, going out shoes, flat shoes, party shoes, Boots, Flip Flops, Slippers and more! They also do shoes for people with wider feet as well.
Accessories - This includes jewellery, Belts, Bags, Scarves & Gloves, Hosiery, Umbrellas and more.
Lingerie & Nightwear - They have a large lingerie range some of which is designed by Kelly Brook & is very sexy. They also sell nightwear such as sleep sets and robes/gowns.
***THE QUALITY*** I shop in new look regularly and I have never found a fault or problem with an item of clothing from their yet. Some of their going out dresses & tops are made with beautiful material and they look more expensive than what they actually cost. When buying tops from here I have never had any problems with their items.
I regularly buy my work trousers from here, but I always find after the second day of wearing them, they always seem to feel and look a bit bigger until I wash them again. How-ever I have never had any faults or problems with their trousers either.
Their lingerie range is quite big and they normally have offers on the French knickers such as 5 for £10 or they sometimes sell them in packs of 3 or 4. I find that in the lingerie bottoms I always have to go up one size, especially after washing them as their knickers seem to shrink quite a bit and then they end up being too tight!
I have also bought a few bags from here as well, and have also never has problems with faulty or broken handles/zips. The bags I have bought from here I have been very pleased with and have got a lot of use out of their bags before I have needed to buy a new one. I also think compared to some other stores they have a great range and are a lot cheaper than places such as TopShop or Miss Selfridge.
The shoes are very good quality, I shop in here regularly for shoes and boots, which last a very long time and when they need repairing I simply go to the shop in town to get new heels/soles fitted onto the shoes. They always have some great shoes in the sales as well . . This for me is the highlight of the sales . . Shoes!!
***REFUNDS/EXCHANGES*** I can't remember exactly how many days you have to return an item but as long as you do this with proof of purchase and the item in a re-sellable condition they will give you a refund with no problems. I have always found them to be very good when it comes to refunds and exchanges, I have never known them to cause a fuss or refusing to do it.
***MY LOCAL STORE*** My local store is Guildford and this store is huge with 2 floors. They no longer stock men's-wear like they sued to but they so stock the teens and Inspire range. I can't say that I've ever noticed the Maternity range in this branch either but I could be wrong. The store always look fairly tidy, but I find that there is a lack of space to push buggies/push-chairs around, especially when it comes to queuing at the till because they have so many towers and stands with items on that it quite hard to manoeuvre round these stands and other people at the same time. Also the aisle where the till is, isn't very wide either so it's a bit of a squeeze past when someone had a buggy there as well.
I'm not sure if anyone else experiences this in their store or have done in the Guildford store, but I always notice that I get followed around in this store. I'm not sure why, but I'm always constantly being watched and followed and this puts me off so much that I always try to shop in the Woking or Portsmouth branch instead. All I want to do is browse through the clothing, try a few things on and buy them, what's the law against that? It makes me feel like a criminal when members of staff do this!
***OVERALL*** You can find a perfect outfit here for any occasion, whether it's a work interview, a lazy, chilled night n with the girls or a night on the town, you will no doubt find something in here with shoes to match. If you manage to grab a lot of bits from the sale it won't cost you a fortune either. You can probably buy a top, trousers & shoes for about £60 - £70, which I think is pretty good considering the prices TopShop & other retail outlets charge.

...first started to shop in New Look five or six years ago (now I don't know where else I'd shop!) I never really took much notice in it as it wasn't in my main high street so when I did go in there I was really shocked! The clothing was very fashionable and for quite cheap prices and I honestly couldn't think of a reason why I hadn't shopped in there before.

New look has been around since whenever. Their shops are mainly found in the high streets of many towns and cities. New look shops do vary in sizes, the smaller new looks only tend to have women's clothing and the bigger new looks which have two floors tend to stock most of their items thus including mens, women's, teens and kids wear. I started shopping in new look when I started work at the age of 16, as I was earning my own I had the choice of ... ...to catch my eye. New look also offer student discounts but this vary from season to season, at time they offer 20% or 15% off to those people with students card but most the time they offer 10% off through out the year. However you don't get student discount on sale items. Who hasn't been into New Look these days and wondered why they hadn't been in before. Only recently, in like the last year I think, has New Look really had it's finger on the pulse and had some really great clothes, that are of a better quality than they used to be. And the prices are just unbeatable on the high street.
The Shop
In the past year, in my area of South London, all of the New Look stores have undergone a revamp, and they all now have ... ...(also a bargain a £28!). New Look has lots of ranges (explained later). In the main range they offer lots of basic tees, fashionable tops for going out and day time. There is a great value jean/denim range (hipster bootcut jeans £25), as well as summer dresses, lots of the fashionable gypsy skirts (I bought one today for £15), work stuff and holiday basics. They are all at great prices, and the quality isn't of the highest standard, but all my clothes ...

New Look aims to provide up to the minute fashion at reasonable prices. There are stores in most towns and cities so you should have no problems in finding one near you. My review is based mainly on the store in the Arndale Centre, Manchester. On approaching the store there are two large windows either side of the door with mannequins displaying some of the lastest ranges of clothes. The displays are well set up - tidy, bright and clearly displaying ... ...New Look is focused mainly on women, they do stock men's clothes, not as wide a range though. I never seem to see men buying anything, or even browsing there unless they are with girlfriends, so maybe New Look has some way to go with respect to attracting men into the store. Mind you, the men's range seems to have been scaled down a little bit in my local store so maybe they are phasing it out, I don't know.

New Look is a clothes store that caters for women, teenage girls, and just recently they've also started a men's range in select stores. I'm afraid my local store doesn't sell menswear, so I'll be concentrating on ladieswear (sorry guys!).
*New Look's History*
Some people may be surprised to learn that the first New Look store opened in 1969, in Taunton. However, it wasn't until the early 1990s that the brand really began to take off.
By 1994 ... ...the UK by purchasing 34 new sites, and they will be opening stores in Belgium and France this year.
New Look is against animal testing and also has signed up to the Ethical Trading Initiative, to ensure that factory workers producing their stock in other countries get decent working conditions, and work reasonable hours.

Where to start!
Matalan is an out of city shop (found in retail parks outside the main town), they have over 200 Matalan shops across the UK and offer some very good bargains!
Matalan has up to the minute fashion and is very reasonably priced and some items are cheaper than the usual shops (like NewLook etc.)
Matalan have a reward store card which offers up to 50% off with special offers sent to you once registered.
Matalan have Ladies Clothes and Shoes, Mens Clothes and Shoes, Childrens and Babies Clothes and Shoes, Homeware ranging from utensils to garden ornaments, and a Book section mainly for kids that I have seen.
They offer Instore and Online clothing, so if you cant get to a store then atleast you can shop online!
Matalan is a great place for bargains too, especially when the sale season starts! I picked up ...

H&M is a great shop. The clothes are more mature than shops like NewLook and are presented much better. Theres so much choice, hoodys, plain t-shirts, jeans, etcetc. The jeans are also great quality! I got some Squin ones about 6 months ago for £12, I love them! I practically live in them, they fit perfectly and haven't got worn out yet.
Theres also a great selection of hats, scarves, bags and jewellery.
All their products are extremely high quality and will last for years! Theres always a huge selection and they are constantly introducing new clothes and accessories
There are occasionally some ques, but these do go quite quickly and it depends which store you shop at. But I think a busy shop, is the sign of a good shop! :) ...

Primark is brill! I love the shop and everything in it!
The clothes may not have the "brand" on it, but the clothes are just as good as the stuff in NewLook or River Island. To be honest, I'd rather shop in Primark. I always find some good things there. Last time I went there, I found a top for £2, pair of black shoes for £2 and a big bag for £3 and they've not been broken or damaged, and they haven't fallen apart either. I'd call that value for money!
The layout of the shop is normally neat and well presented. After a while, people tend to dump stuff in random places and I always see workers folding clothes back up and sorting the clothes out. At least they take care! The selection of clothes Primark has to offer is amazing. They have plain outfits, fancy clothes, everyday wear, evening wear as well as a range of accessories ...
