It's a good job that I like this shop because it is just about the only female clothes shop in the small town that I live in!
New Look is by far one of the best creations ever!Can we have an OBE for the creater of this store cos she surely deserves one! Not only is this shop up to date with all the latest fashions, it is also affordable and stocks clothes in sizes 8-18 without skimping on size or quality.
The designs are updated constantley and new arrays of clothes arrive every week which is also great because clothes are constantley being flung on to the sales rail to make way for the new ones! This can also be irritating if you just spend £20 on a top the week before to see it going for a tenner the next week. However, the styles and fashions are just fab and there is something for everyone regardless of age.
Some stores stock a special kids to teenagers range, I think its called 915 and there is also a range for bigger girls called inspine which are available up to size 24 in some bigger stores or by mail order.
The clothes range from affordable suits for the working woman, to glitzy little skirts and tops to faded jeans and sports tops. I bagged a cute patterned vest for just £3 the other week. I also love their range of shoes and accesories. They stock hair bobbles, necklaces even henna tatoos!
The changing rooms are large and the mirrors don't lie. I'm sure that some shops adjust their mirrors so you squeeze in to one of their little black dresses and look like Jennifer Anniston in the changing room mirror but get home and you look more like Jabba the hut. Anyway, New Look is not guilty of this.
The sales staff are generally polite and helpful and on hand to help with any queries. My local store also has a mail order catalogue on the desk, which stocks stuff like furniture and bedroom accesories also. The new look account card is not one of my favourite points of discussion at the moment! If you can prevent yourself from getting carried away(and believe me there is plenty of cool things to get carried away with in there) then go for it and get a 25% discount on your first purchase but my advice is don't! New look is so affordable that you can save a bit of money and have a shopping spree instead of running up bigger bills with their high interest.....I speak from experience!
My opinion is based on the New Look store in Ormskirk but all the branches that I have visited have been of a high quality. The one thing I would say is that clothes are reduced throughout the week so unless you are desperate for that little top right there and then, I would leave it afew days to see if you could get it a few quid cheaper.

A suitable review for a great shop! Most of my wardrobe is from here, as you can't fault the price vs quality. The only time a I had a query was a couple of years ago when twinsets were in - I asked the assistant where to find them and she trundled off to find out. I then found them myself, only for her to come and find me to ask what a twinset was! Bless the Saturday staff!

I love New Look too...ther's also a range called Inspire for the larger lady..so no-one is left out. They have some great bargains! A really nice and interesting op!
Advantages: student discount, great selection on mens, womens, teens and kidswear Disadvantages: some stores are too small therefore don't have a great selection
