I bought myself a ds nintendo lite when they first came out, I think the whole idea of touch screen technology is brilliant and really enjoyed playing on it on a daily basis, It also came in very handy for learning new languages and mabe learning for your theory test in driving, There is so many things you can use the nintendo ds for, dieting,stopping smoking plus silly games you play just for fun. The nintendo ds was so good in my eyes that i bought one for my 5 year old son, It was a great learning platform for him, You can buy certain educational games set for your childs age, The only one downfall is in time the screen does get pretty scratched due to some games needing you to do fast quick movements with your pen, Another good thing though is that if you have older games from your nintendo you can also play these through a special ...

Nintendo DS: Welcome to the new generation

Advantages: Innovative touch screen, Nintendo games catalogue, reliability, battery life
Disadvantages: slightly disappointing graphics

After a long time deciding whether to buy a DS or PSP i decided on the DS, a decision i'm yet to regret even now a year later. Complete with a brilliant games catalogue and stylish look i can only recommend this console, the innovative touch screen is really the selling point here, most of the games available integrate it somehow and there are games that are specially designed for it. The Pro's for the DS are that it looks good, has a great games catalogue with all the classic Nintendo characters and the touch screen really does add another dimension to this console. The cons of the DS are the relatively poor graphics (and thats being hard on them). For games like Mario there isn't a problem but with games that need high quality graphics the DS comes up a little short. Recomended also is that you leave the original DS on the shelves ...

NINTENDO DS LITE

Advantages: I can communicate with friends when im on holiday
Disadvantages: nothing

At first when I purchased the Nintendo ds lite I must admit I think I'd made a big mistake, there wasn't a lot of games available and I knew I'd get bored of it, Recently there's being a few games out and there's an internet browser which I love as you can email friends when your on holiday if the room has a wifi connection, I also love the fact the there's lots of flash cartridges available which are rewritable and I can upload msn onto the flash card and use it like I would use it on the computer.
