Newry Town which is now a city is a pretty nice place, i grew up there and the people of the town are lovely and there will never be a quiet night. its situated about an hour from dublin and the same from belfast which is really good place to stay if you want to visit both. There is a few good night clubs one of them is called Velvet and the other is call The Bank both clubs def worth going to although The Bank would be more suitable for those over 21 as it is an older more sophisticated age group. There are also plenty of nice places to eat depending on what you fancy. Most of the pubs like Squires, quay side do lovely pub food and the hotel also does a lovely lunch menu. I think out of all the places i have ever visited in the world the food at home is the best, we have gorgeous Chinese restaurants and take aways, and also nice sandwich and pizza places. There is two shopping centers fairly close to each other and offer everything you need from clothes to accessories to jewellary to alcohol. During the summer there is normally festivals on near by the city and they offer lots of good tradtional entertainment.

Not a bad start, but what about the football team, seeing as you've posted in that category?
