My girlfriend and I took our first holiday abroad together to Calella and stayed in the Osiris for a week in June 2003.
We've had better nights sleep in Club 18-30 hotels!!!!!!!!
First impressions
Our first impression of the Osiris was that it was a very nice and posh hotel. From the outside it looks just like the brochure, the scenic lift is very atractive. The reception staff seemed very disorganised when we checked in; After a long wait we were shuffled in front of a digital camera for individual mugshots but they failed to tell us what they were for. It was only when we returned a couple of hours later did we realise they were for our all-inclusive identification. They asked us to return later to pick up armbands! Hey this is a skate video i recently got for free at the Osiris UK tour, the videos is on sale in most skate shops. The video is full of 45 minutes of excellent skateboarders including Jerry Hsu, Josh Kasper and many more. Josh Kasper does some of the most amazing drops ive ever seen and Jerry Hsu is one of my favorite skateboarders and pulls of many very technical flip tricks and grinds. I found this video interesting even if you dont like skateboarding and also found it very inspiring to go and try new moves or skateboarding for the first time. Another great video to look out for is the 'Photosynthesis' It doesnt use any slow motion or replay's but it is still another of my favorite viseo's also even without slow motion it is still more than and hour and a half long. ...
Advantages: All three films, many hours of extras, well... it's the Matrix! Disadvantages: Sooo many extras that you will never have the time to watch them all!
This box set is extremely good, i especially enjoyed watching the disc of the animatrix, which is a collection of short animations based upon the matrix. One of these animations follows the flight of the osiris, which is the hovercraft which first witnessed the mass of sentinels sent to destroy Zion in the matrix reloaded. Although in my opinion the second and third films do not even come close to the brilliance of the first matrix film, it is still worth seeing them. This is a box set that i am definately happy to have in my collection, and i rate it as one of the top collections i own. It is much better to buy the collection in this 10 disc set than buying the films seperately as this set comes with so many hours of extras that i still havnt seen them all! This is a must have for anyone. GET IT! ...
